• Petra - The driver will meet at the designated meeting point and drive directly to Petra’s main entrance, which takes approximately 2 hours. In Petra, the itinerary includes visits to:
  • Al-Siq, The Treasury, Colonnaded Street, Ad-Deir, High Place of Sacrifice, Great Temple, Royal Tombs, Temple of Dushares (Qasr el Bint), Street of Facades, and the Byzantine Church.
    After exploring Petra, the driver will take you to a restaurant for lunch, then return you to the original meeting point. If the driver picked you up from a hotel in Aqaba, they will also drive you back to your hotel in Aqaba.
• Al-Siq - The Siq serves as the main entrance to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. Walking through the Siq covers approximately 3/4 of a mile and offers a pleasant experience. Exiting the Siq and first witnessing Petra is truly remarkable.
• The Treasury - Al-Khazneh is among the most intricate temples in Petra, a city of the Nabatean Kingdom once inhabited by ancient Arabs. Like many other structures in this historic city, including the Monastery, it was carved from a sandstone rock face.
• The Colonnaded Street - Originally constructed by the Nabateans and later rebuilt by the Romans, this street features columns that, despite some wear, clearly display the architectural vision of the colonnaded street. All Roman cities had a central Forum, a public space for business, civic activities, and religious ceremonies.
• Ad-Deir Trail - Nestled high in the hills, the Monastery is one of Petra’s iconic monuments. It resembles the Treasury in design but is significantly larger (50m wide and 45m high). Built in the 3rd century BCE as a Nabataean tomb, its name comes from crosses carved on the interior walls, indicating its use as a church during Byzantine times. The ancient rock-cut path, consisting of over 800 steps, begins at the Basin Restaurant and follows the historic processional route.
