Here, an enriching 3-hour ecological walk commences, offering insights into the fauna, flora, and history of the Tayrona people, along with the four descendant communities still residing in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The walk leads to the terraces of Bunkuany Tayrona, where participants can learn about this ancient civilization and admire the impressive stone constructions and pathways that connect the various terraces, each with its own hierarchy and purpose.
During the visit, there will be an opportunity to enjoy a traditional regional lunch, enriched with stories and the breathtaking landscapes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The return journey includes a technical stop at one of the stunning waterfalls before continuing back to Santa Marta.
The return to Santa Marta is scheduled for 4:45 pm.

Similar to Ciudad Perdida or Teyuna, “The second Lost City,” Bunkuany is surrounded by several streams and rivers, offering visitors the chance to enjoy a refreshing swim during their tour.
