This walking tour is designed at a leisurely pace, allowing participants to closely experience authentic Japanese lifestyle and culture. It is suitable for most individuals with moderate fitness levels. Participants will explore Tokyo’s historic neighborhoods—Yanaka, Nezu, and Sendagi. Discover ancient temples and shrines, as well as buildings from the Meiji, Taishō, and Showa periods.
• Typically, this tour lasts about 3 hours and 30 minutes. However, the duration may vary slightly, ensuring everyone can enjoy their stroll through this charming neighborhood with flexibility.
• Small group sizes allow for personal interaction with our knowledgeable tour guide.
• Experience the tranquil side of Tokyo’s old town.
Note: We are a small team of experienced tour guides. We do not employ inexperienced or temporary guides, even during peak seasons.
- Summer season (1 June to 11 September 2026)~To avoid the danger of heat stroke due to the hot and very humid summer in Tokyo , this tour for summer season will include a stop in a cafe that is transformed from an old traditional building (one drink included) . All the places of visit will be the same (except summer season do not go to Yanaka Ginza) . The summer season tour will end at Nezu Station.
