Three Days Discovering Southern Ethiopia's Tribal Mysteries - Abselam emerged as the heart of our cultural expedition through southern Ethiopia. From Arba Minch to Konso’s terraced landscapes, Turmi’s volcanic formations, and Key Afer’s vibrant markets, his profound anthropological knowledge transformed our journey into a masterclass of cross-cultural understanding. He meticulously prepared us for encounters with the Hamer people’s ochre-coated traditions, teaching respectful Amharic greetings, while sensitively mediating photography boundaries with the lip-plated Mursi tribe, decoding their symbolic facial adornments through captivating ancestral narratives. We realized this polyglot guide—fluent in a dozen regional dialects—was himself Ethiopia’s most vibrant living treasure.

Excellent tour guide for family of 3 generations (15+ group) - Was an excellent experience, tailored to a large group of 15 family members of 3 different generations - making it entertaining for all! The local knowledge and selection of activities from the tour guide was great, making us feel safe in some of the most remote parts of the country and with dangerous animals (e.g. crocodiles)

Amazing Time in Arba Minch with Abselam! - Our 3-day adventure tour in Arba Minch was fantastic! Abselam and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and even accommodated our last-minute request to visit Nechisar National Park. Exploring the park and experiencing the local culture at Dorze Village made for an unforgettable trip. Everything was well-organized, and the hospitality was excellent. He took us through the fauna and flora of the park in combination with the narrations of the history of the park. Lovely time with the best guide - We had a wonderful time with Ab! He was engaging and thoughtful. He made sure we had a great time. Ab was very knowledgeable during the tour which steams from his love for arba minch. Ab knew all the right spots and gave us an effective tour. I recommend everyone to choose Mystery Land Ethiopia Tour.

To do absolutely - We took a day tour visiting Arba minch and dorze with a visit to a typical village of the dorze tribe and the crocodile reserve. The abselam guide is very knowledgeable, speaks very good English and is very clear even for those who have a not very high level of English like me, knows a lot of interesting and funny things about his region. It was a fun and super interesting day. I hope to come back soon to do a longer tour with him.
