Arba Minch - Day 01: Arrival – Arba Minch
Upon arrival, the operator will meet you at the airport and drive you to the town of Arba Minch. Along the way, you will visit the Dorze village, renowned for their weaving skills, particularly in creating Shammas. Their houses are uniquely shaped like elephants, a tribute to the animals that once roamed the area. The staple food for these people is Enset, also known as “false banana.”
Arba Minch to Jinka
Jinka - Day 02: Drive Arba Minch - Konso – Jinka
After breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, the third largest lake in Ethiopia. Here, you might spot Nile crocodiles, hippos, and various bird species. Continue to the Bana village, home to indigenous pastoral and semi-nomadic people of the lower Omo Valley. The Bana men often style their hair with colorful clay caps adorned with feathers. Visit the Ari people, the largest group in the lower Omo Valley, where women craft skirts from the Enset tree and excel in pottery.
Jinka to Turmi
Turmi - Day 03: Drive Jinka – Mago – Jinka
Embark on a day trip to Mago National Park to explore the Mursi village. The Mursi are one of Ethiopia’s most unique ethnic groups, residing in low huts made of straw leaves. The women are known for wearing terra cotta on their extensively stretched lower lips and ear lobes. Return to Jinka for lunch.

Turmi - Day 04: Jinka-Turmi
Depending on the day, visit the Key Afer market on Thursday or the Alduba market on Tuesday. After exploring the market, drive to Turmi, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Hammer tribe villages and meet the Hammer people.
Turmi to Arba Minch
Arba Minch - Day 05: Excursion to Omorate – Arba Minch
After breakfast, take an excursion to Omorate to meet the Dassanech people, known as the ‘people of the Delta,’ who reside on the northern shore of Lake Turkana. Visit and return to Turmi, then drive to Konso.
On this day, travel to Konso to explore the Konso village, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Ethiopia, famous for its terracing. This village is also known for producing some of the country’s finest coffee.
Arba Minch to Addis Ababa
Tiya World Heritage Site - Day 06: Arba Minch – Addis Ababa
Drive back to Addis Ababa, stopping to see the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tiya. In the evening, enjoy a folkloric dinner in Addis, where you can sample various national dishes and watch traditional dances from Ethiopia’s diverse ethnic groups. A traditional coffee ceremony will also be part of the experience. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
