A great experience! - The glasses are very easy to use and light to wear. The experience makes the visit so much more lively and as a result the museum also becomes more interesting. Top also for my son. I recommend

Feel like you are cheating - Located about 1 K from the entrance in the middle of the business district. If you have the extra time to do this, I highly recommend this experience. Once you locate the correct archeological site you need to be at use the headset and be transported to the site as it stood during the ancient Olympics. Looking at the groups with guides, I simply looked into the headset and saw what they were trying to imagine. Only issue was that it was sometimes difficult to find the correct place to use the headset, but well worth a little patience. You will need to reserve the gear once you know your schedule so they can meet you at the store front.

Do it! - Theres lots of walking, a lot to see. The experience seeing the old and new was exiting. We enjoyed a great dinner. Our tour guide was the best.

A wonderful experience we will never forget! - This experience was fabulous and 100% worth the money. I think it shows just how much of an impact it had on us, that I am finding the time almost 10 months later to write this review. Essentially through these virtual reality glasses you get to see Olympia how it really was back at that time. I find it hard to describe what a difference this made to the whole experience, but it turned our visit into something we will never forget. You can of course walk around and look at everything as it is now, and try to imagine what it would have been like, but these VR glasses do this for you in technicolour and more! So vividly that you really do feel as if you are standing there back in Ancient Greek times as part of the Olympic games, you are there in the squares and buildings surrounded by Grecian men and women and athletes. The images within The Temple of Zeus are simply incredible. When we came away, we felt a bit odd, as if we had actually been there, having been transported back in time for a while! You collect the glasses from a small office in the town (easy parking outside) and from there it is just a few minutes drive to the main car park for Olympia itself. The people in the office were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and explained to us everything we needed to know in order to use the glasses. The glasses themselves were light and not cumbersome, and we are so thrilled that we made the decision to hire them. We do recommend this experience very highly.

Not to be missed - A different way of visiting, which shows the visitor the state of the places around the second century AD and that, at the various sites, explains time after time how the monuments appeared, how the athletes trained, how the competitions took place and other curiosities related to Olympia. Better than a traditional guide

The extra stuff for the tour - Really adds a plus to the tour. You can’t imagine the place how it was before. Also allows to have really interesting anecdotes.

Awesome. - I gave this only four stars because I am directionally challenged and half the time I did not know which way to walk. If there was an arrow indicating direction on my screen it would have been most helpful. The audio was good but would have preferred more information. The people at the store were fantastic! We would do this again.

Very poor customer service - Collection point is about a 1 km from the attraction . My devise stopped working half way around the attraction. I was was refused any compensation because I did not phone him to report it. He accused me of being rude and just said "go away". Very poor service.

‘May 2025 virtual reality glasses tour’ - The glasses were heavy and uncomfortable on the neck. The virtual reality videos were outdated and didn’t coincide with the areas on the map. There were no numbers on the sections to match the map and the video got stuck on a few of the numbers on the map so it wasn’t working properly. In all it was not a good experience. There were some sights that were missing and not in the map.
