A trip to remember and savour!! - What an amazing day out - one for the memory banks to savour for a long time. From the coach drop off there is a 1.5 km walk to the start of the Cominito Del Rai path where you are kitted out with safety helmet and radio equipment. The path itself is about 6 km of THE most dramatic and spectacular scenery imaginable. Words are inadequate to describe just how amazing this walk is. Our local guide was knowledgeable, humorous and obliging when answering questions. We took loads of photos and even saw vultures soaring overhead. We felt completely safe at all times. We are 70 years of age and found the terrain and distance easily manageable. Don't miss this experience if you get the chance - you won't regret or forget it!!

Naoise is our hero! - I have wanted to do this walk for as long as I can remember, didn't disappoint. Still just buzzing from the experience, stunning landscape and geology. Do it in April or May when it's not so blistering hot, the guide's own advice! One of our group is afraid of heights, she's our hero. Another lady in the group was terrified crossing the bridge at the end but was gently supported across by one of the guides. Even though the bridge doesn't wobble, he stopped everyone else from crossing to reassure her. Nice touch. Made for a great photo too! Brilliant day, don't think about it, just do it!

Great day out but very long - Amazing experience, really worth doing, be prepared for a long day though, the bus picked us up at 7.25am and it took 3 hours to get through all the collection stops and get to the activity, once off the bus its a 1.5km walk to the start, 5 km walk through the activity and 1.5km walk to the bus at the end, the bus then takes 3 hours on the way back so arrived back to start point nearly 11 hours after starting, most of this is travelling and about 4-5 hours on the actual walk though (around 2 hours worth of this is waiting) the walk through the canyon’s was breathtaking, the views were breathtaking, there is a lot of waiting around though due to only so many people being allowed on certain parts at a time, we visited in low season and still is was busy so be prepared if your visiting in high season to wait longer, the guide gave us lots of information along the way which a really informative and kept us entertained through the waits, its a long day so make sure you have plenty water and snacks with you as there is nothing from the bus drop off until you get to the end of the walk not even water refill stations, the bus trip is very windy and twisty and a few passengers were sick so be prepared for that to, all in all a great day out
