All this important information is clearly printed on your voucher.
• Gaitanejo Power Station - Walk along the initial path and the first suspended walkways. The guide will highlight the Caminito’s fascinating history: its construction in the early 1900s, the challenges faced by workers, and why King Alfonso XIII commissioned it. This section sets the scene for the gorge.
• Mirador De Cristal Caminito Del Rey - As the initial path transitions to vertical rock faces, prepare for the main attraction. You are about to step onto the legendary suspended walkways—an engineering marvel visible from space. This section is where the Caminito earns its fame. Pause to admire the vastness of the Gaitanes Gorge, marvel at the crystal-clear water 100 meters below, and ready your camera. Your guide will help you capture the best views while sharing lesser-known facts about the trail’s daring reconstruction.
• El Caminito del Rey - This is the core of the Caminito, where the walkways are suspended highest above the Gaitanes Gorge. The guide will explain the incredible geological formations, the river, and the unique flora and fauna of the area. There will be designated moments for photography.
• King’s Bridge El Caminito Del Rey - Complete the final section and the path towards the exit near El Chorro. The guide will conclude the tour with information on the reconstruction process and its modern use as a natural park. The guide will direct you to the official exit points and the available shuttle bus stop (Note: Shuttle bus fee is separate and not included).
