The traditional Irish bread-making experience unfolds in the cozy farmhouse kitchen. The home is accessible via public transport or by car.
The session typically begins at 11 am and concludes around 1:30 pm. Guests are welcomed with freshly baked Soda Fruit Bannock straight from the oven, accompanied by tea and coffee.
Participants will then dive into the hands-on experience, making Northern Irish breads the traditional way, without weighing or measuring ingredients. All breads are prepared on a griddle and cooked within 10-15 minutes. Guests will create Soda bread, Wheaten bread, and Potato bread, and enjoy a demonstration of Soda Focaccia bread.
After working up an appetite, Tracey sets the table with her fine bone china for guests to savor the freshly made warm breads alongside some of her homemade treats. Participants will leave with a generous bag of their homemade breads and a copy of the recipes for everything tasted and made during the session.
