Arequipa – Cruz del Cóndor – San Juan de Chuccho – Sangalle

Chivay - The journey to the Colca Canyon begins, taking approximately 3 hours to reach the town of Chivay by 06:30 a.m., where breakfast will be served.

Mirador Cruz del Condor - Next, the trip continues for about 1 hour to the “Cruz del Cóndor” viewpoint. Visitors will have around 40 minutes to explore and admire the renowned condor flight and the canyon’s impressive depth. Following this, the journey proceeds to Pampas de San Miguel in Cabanaconde, where the hike will commence.

Tapay Viewpoint - The descent into the canyon will take about 3.5 hours, leading to the Colca River for a rest. The hike continues across the area’s first hanging bridge.

San Juan de Chuccho - The trek proceeds over the first hanging bridge in the region, culminating in arrival and lunch at San Juan de Chuccho.

Oasis Sangalle - After a rest, the journey continues to the oasis of Sangalle. By 5:00 p.m., arrival at the Sangalle Oasis is expected, a serene and delightful spot to enjoy its pools and dinner, surrounded by palm trees and a hostel. Overnight stay in a traditional accommodation in Sangalle.

Sangalle – Cabanaconde – Chivay – Arequipa

Cabanaconde - At 04:30 a.m., the uphill hike resumes for 3 hours from Sangalle to Cabanaconde. Breakfast will be served in Cabanaconde.

Mirador de Wayra Punku - Stops will be made en route from Cabanaconde to Chivay.

Baños Termales de Chacapi - A stop at this stunning tourist spot allows visitors to enjoy the therapeutic thermal waters offered by the Yanque district.

Mirador de los Andes - On the return to Arequipa, a stop will be made at the volcano viewpoint at 4,900 meters above sea level, offering views of the Chila mountain range, Ampato volcano, Sabancaya, and Hualca Hualca.

Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve - The flora and fauna of this beautiful reserve will be observed before arriving in Arequipa between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. approximately.
