The highlight of our visit to Arequipa. - I did a lot of research before booking our tour. I am so glad we found Exquisito Peru. The structure of the tour was great. We started at the market and then spent the afternoon walking from restaurant to restaurant sampling different types and styles of cooking from Peru and specifically Arequipa. Each restaurant featured something unique and different. The highlight of the tour was our guide Deana. She was very well informed. Conversant in both and Spanish and happy to switch between the two. She made the experience so much fun. She also shared information about the architecture, culture, history. It was wonderful. I cannot recommend this to her highly enough.!!

Must do in Arequipa (first timers)! - This was GREAT! Diana was an amazing guide and did well speaking in English. She showed me around, taught me so much about the history of the city and allowed me to taste so many dishes. It was also great that she took me to a few places that I was able to cross off of my sight-seeing list. She was kind enough to prevent me from being alone at the end of the tour to help guide me. She joined me with a few dishes and even the drinks. It felt like I was with a friend, which is needed when you go solo like I did. Highly recommend this tour if it's your first time in Arequipa, wanting to try new foods. Thanks Diana!

Diana was superb - A great introduction to the delights of Arequipa's food scene. A good selection of the different foods and drink available. Diana's English is faultless and her knowledge excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic walking and food tour of Arequipa - We did a guided walking tour of Arequipa which included food stops, and it was a fantastic introduction to Arequipa and Peru. Diana was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond. We learnt a lot about Arequipa, as well as sampling some very tasty Peruvian dishes. I definitely recommend this tour.

our with a great host. Plenty of food and good variety of food. You also get to see multiple parts is Arequipa and I went to some places I would not have seen otherwise

Arequipa culinary experience - Diana was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, who not only focused on the Arequipa food experience but also added interesting historical aspects of the city, while exploring and stopping at the different eateries
Highly recommend it to learn more about the city and its culinary scene.

Lovely afternoon of food and knowledge - I had an amazing time on my tour which was led by Diana! She was very courteous and kind about me showing up a few minutes late.
Overall, she gave an amazing and thorough tour! She showed me a lot of interesting things in the market, in the plaza de armas, the San Lázaro neighborhood, and in Yanahaura! She explained everything very thoroughly and answered all of my questions about absolutely every topic. I particularly appreciated her knowledge of the architecture of the buildings. It felt like spending a nice afternoon out with your smartest friend. This tour is a must-do if you’re short on time and what to get to know the city and sample all the typical foods and better get a feel for the city!
