Enjoy a smooth transfer while a guide provides information about the city’s attractions and services, and assists with your hotel check-in. Start your exploration at the main square, Plaza de Armas, where you can admire the elegant neo-Renaissance style of the basilica cathedral and the remarkable Santa Catalina convent. This convent, founded in the 16th century, was a secluded city within a city, closed off from the outside world. It functioned as a nearly self-sufficient village with houses for nuns and their servants, cloisters, plazas, narrow streets, kitchens, refectories, and more. Families of the nuns paid substantial dowries, enhancing the convent’s wealth and prestige. Strolling through its vibrant alleys offers a glimpse into colonial Peru. Continue to the Church of the Company, a stunning example of Peruvian baroque architecture, and admire its intricate façade. The vestry is particularly striking with its cupola and walls adorned with jungle-themed murals. The Jesuit seminary is renowned for its beautiful main cloister. Arequipa - Colca Valley and Canyon

Colca Canyon - After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for an exhilarating day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Condor Cross lookout. Take in the vastness of the Colca Valley, one of the world’s deepest canyons, with a maximum depth exceeding 4,160 meters, twice that of the Grand Canyon. The experience is heightened by the sight of majestic condors soaring over the canyon. Marvel at these graceful birds as they glide with precision. Descend to the valley floor to explore rustic towns along the River Colca, such as Chivay, Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, where charming colonial churches complement the Andean peaks. Stop at the Antahuilque and Choquetico lookouts for breathtaking views of the valley. After lunch, return to Arequipa.
