Afterwards, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring typical regional dishes. - Mirador de Patapampa - On the return to Arequipa, stop at the Patapampa viewpoint at 4,910 meters above sea level to admire stunning views of volcanoes such as Ampato, Sabancaya, and Hualca Hualca. Then visit the Tocra wetlands (bofedales) to observe diverse Andean bird species and native wildlife including llamas and alpacas in their natural habitat.

Day trip to Colca experience - Very good tour, I liked that we weren’t rushed from points of interest, ample of time to take pictures and walk around and admire the beautiful scenery. Comfortable vehicle, in our case large van.

Good value - Raul the guide and Juan the driver made the trip great. Only saw 1 Condor fly (it was beginning of nesting season) so was grateful we saw one. Great value for the cost. Long day starting at 0245 but worth it. Be prepared to get dropped off near the Plaza and walk back to your hotel after a long day. Mine was about 8 blocks uphill.

It was okay. Sometimes less is more. - Ahead. The guide was good and also told a lot. Overall, the tour was ok. But bring change. Once for any souvenirs, because at every stop, really at every stop were small stalls. And for the tickets. Lunch was already in the price with me. And that was really good. A lot of choice. Only when several buses arrived at the same time was the crowd at the buffet big. well, everyone was hungry. Breakfast in the morning was rather sparse. If you can get a lunch bag from the hotel, take it with you. I booked this tour because the Cruz del Condor viewpoint was my focus. Unfortunately, we didn't see a Condor there, but one when we drove on again. The bus also stopped at the side of the road, which I found very good. so we were given the opportunity to see yet another Condor. But what I thought was a shame
were sometimes the time. Depending on where we were we had 10-50 min time. At Cruz del Condor it was 50 minutes. Sounds like a lot if you just stay upstairs where we were let out. But if you want to go to the vantage point that is always shown in the advertisement. Can be quite exhausting and sporty for one or the other. Down 10-15 min. Up 15-20 min. At the finish itself just 15 min. Due to the altitude, it is more strenuous to move there. What I found totally unnecessary were again the market stalls and the people dressed as Condors. I mean, at the lookout point you want to have a rest and just enjoy the view and just hope to see a condor. It was enough that at all the other stops were vending stands. I had the feeling that through all the hustle and bustle the birds stayed away. And then I was wondering. If there is a time when the birds just don't show up because there is no session for them. Maybe you shouldn't put so much into this tour either. The thermal springs were superfluous for a stop of 1 hour. The time would have been better at Cruz del Condor. Sometimes I wonder if touring privately is not the better alternative. You pay more, but maybe the offer is better.

Not sure I'd recommend if you really want to see the condors. - It's a long day and I was disappointed that we spent less than an hour at the Condor lookout; especially when the entrance fee was $70s.
The 1 hr at the Hot Springs was a waste of time for most people on the tour. And shopping in Maca and all the viewpoints would have been better spent with the condors.
