Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve - Embark on the volcano route, ascending the slopes of the Chachani volcano, with breathtaking views of the Misti volcano and Picchu Picchu. The journey traverses the Pampa Cañahuas vicuña reserve, a high Andean habitat where these animals are protected. A stop at the Bofedales de Tocra, nourished by springs, offers a unique chance to spot camelids, birds like ducks and Andean flamingos, and observe local muleteers.
Mirador de los Andes - Pause at the Andes viewpoint, known as Pata Pampa. Situated at 4,900 meters above sea level, it is the highest point of the trip. From here, observe the active Sabancaya volcano, and the snow-capped peaks of Ampato and Hualca Hualca.
Chivay - Descend towards the town of Chivay for a delightful buffet lunch featuring local products. Afterward, check in at the hotel of your choice and rest briefly before continuing the tour.
Hot Springs Chacapi - Enjoy a refreshing bath in the thermal and medicinal pools of Chacapi. Nearby, engage in activities such as kayaking and ziplining.
Chivay - In the evening, gather for dinner at a folkloric club to enjoy a show featuring traditional dances of the region.
Majestic Colca Canyon
Chivay - Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the Colca Canyon.
Plaza de Armas - Admire the legendary church and the “WITITI” dance, declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Explore the Colca Valley with its terraced fields, native flora and fauna, and pre-Hispanic heritage.
Colca Canyon - Reach the Cruz del Cóndor, a prime spot to witness the grandeur of the Colca Canyon and the flight of the Andean condor (Vultur gryphus), the largest non-marine bird on Earth, recognized as a cultural and natural heritage of South America.
Mirador de Wayra Punku - On the return journey, visit the Huayra Punko viewpoint in Pinchollo, followed by the Antahuilque viewpoint to see models, enchanted lagoons—legend says they are inhabited by mermaids—and pre-Inca hanging tombs. The next stop is in Maca, a charming and picturesque town.
Chivay - Conclude the stay in the Colca Valley with a varied buffet in Chivay, then begin the journey to Puno.
Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve - Known as Patapampa, located at 4,900 meters above sea level, where the Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya, and Ampato volcanoes can be admired. Here, observe the “apachetas”—small stone towers left by travelers as offerings to the gods for safe return.
Laguna Lagunillas - The final stop is at Lagunillas, offering a panoramic view of small lakes that mirror the sky. It is also home to Andean flamingos and other birds, providing an excellent photo opportunity.
The journey then continues directly to Puno, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.
