An unforgettable experience with an amazing guide - I had an amazing experience trekking through Colca Canyon - the landscapes are absolutely stunning. What really made the experience special was our tour guide, Franco Stev. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the Canyon. Throughout the trek he shared interesting stories about the history and nature of the Colca Canyon, which made the journey feel much more meaningful. He also kept the group motivated during the tougher sections and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe.

Go go go!! - I highly recommend this experience! At first we considered doing a one day trip, but we were sooo happy we chose the full experience (2 day, 1 night) hiking through the canyon. Franco Stev was our guide and he immediately became friendly with the group and was so professional and gave the perfect amount of knowledge – about the condors, flowers, history, culture. Also, we were lucky to have condors flying over us, and the accommodation in oasis was very nice too.

Amazing adventure - I did the 2D/1N Colca Canyon tour with Franco Stev as my guide. We were a group of 6 people and everyone had a fabulous time hiking the beautiful Colca Canyon. We saw condors, tried fresh fruit, swam in clear pools, and had a great guide with us. Franco Stev speaks great English, he hiked at a great pace, shared the perfect amount of info, and kept things light and funny. Food was delicious, accommodation was comfy, and everyone is leaving Colca Canyon very happy and satisfied with the experience. Thank you Franco Stev and thank you Colca!

Summer with family in Arequipa - Christian is professional and very accommodating. He carefully organized a magnificent treck in the Cañon del Colca for me and my mother. The setting was superb from the beginning to the end, from the Condors and Alpacas throughout the day, with a nice guide and ready to answer all our questions Thank you, Christian! See you soon Fernando and Mereida

Colca Canyon 2-Day Trek and Half Day Salinas Salt Flats Tour - I booked the Colca Canyon 2-day trek and the half day Salinas Salt Flats tour. Both tours were exceptional. Danny assisted me with the bookings and clearly outlined what to expect for each tour. He did a great job communicating in English and kept me informed about my tours on WhatsApp. Thanks again Danny!

Exceeded expectations - a must-do! - First day: fairly intense downhill most of the morning (hard on my knees), hot, but beautiful views of the valley and condors flying overhead, guide showed us many interesting things about the surrounding nature and geography Second day: early wake up to get to the top of the valley before the hottest of the morning sun, thermal springs are a welcome relax after around 3 hours of steep uphill, all you can eat buffet with nice Arequipan specialties If you’re fit : moderate hike, if unfit : moderate-hard Overall: Jimi our guide was brilliant, very organised and happy to answer questions, very knowledgeable and encouraging, friendly. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Great and well arranged tour, but also fine without a guide to do. - Wonderful tour with a great guide and fun group. Everything around the food was well arranged. Still, we think we could have done this ourselves, without a guide. The path is completely pre-chewed so you can't get lost. At the bottom of the canyon is an entire village where you can book an overnight stay yourself.

Buyer beware - Colca Canyon is magnificent but here’s what they don’t tell you in the upfront info. You start at 3300 metres so might have altitude sickness. The guides are very young. It’s v challenging for those over 50. The sun can be punishing & you walk 16km in a day. Thank god for mules to ascend final 1000 metres on day 2. Also by buying in UK we paid in pounds what you pay in dollars.

No warm shower at the... - No warm shower at the accommodation and spiders beneath the bed, tour guide did a very poor job (seldom waited of the hikers, which aren’t as fast as other group members, less communication skills), first breakfast in the morning of the first day was not satisfying at all (less food to eat, no coffee, jam was served in very small bowls, there was no possibility for a second helping, not even of jam), we didn't stop to look at the commodore, which I was disappointed the most! No second option available instead of the lunch (buffet) on the second day, and the tour costs us 80€ per person because we booked online on the website of viator, if we have booked in Arequipa at any travel agency we would have paid 60€ instead of 80€
