Begin the journey towards the west side of UB. Hustai National Park is abundant with wildlife and historical landmarks. The Ungut monuments are renowned for their numerous man-like figures, sepultures, and rectangular tombs dating back to the 6th - 8th century AD.
The main attraction of the day is the Takhi, or Przewalski horses. Takhi is the only true wild horse that once nearly vanished from the wild. If fortunate, other wildlife such as wolves, marmots, and deer may also be seen. Enjoy a short hike over the mountains and capture photographs of the captivating landscape and wildlife. Visit Hustai NP’s information center and souvenir shop.

Next, visit the magnificent Erdene Zuu, the oldest monastery in Mongolia and a masterpiece of Mongol architects, located near the ruins.

Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Small Rock Formation) - Visit Baga Gazriin Chuluu and a 17th-century ruined Buddhist temple. The highest formation is a 15 km long and 10 km wide granite stone mountain elevated at 1768m above sea level. There are also over 20 types of medicinal herbs like burnet, and many rare animals such as marmots, ibex, and mountain sheep. Additionally, explore Bolort Cave, an eye treatment spa, rock images, petroglyphs, burial mounds, and many other sights.
