- Monastery Sevanavank - Located on the Sevan peninsula, the Sevanavank monastery complex was established in 305 by St. Gregory the Illuminator, who constructed the church on the site of a former pagan temple. In the 9th century, the Syunik princes supported Sevan, and in 874, Mariam, the wife of Prince Vassak of Syunik and daughter of King Ashot Bagratuni, built two churches here—St. Arakeloc and St. Astvatcatcin. These churches are adorned with intricately carved wooden capitals, some of which are preserved in the Armenia State Museum of History and the Art Gallery of St. Petersburg (Hermitage). A spiritual school was established in the complex in 1869. The remnants of a church with a domed hall can be found atop the island’s mountain. The cloister area is rich in khachkars (cross-stones).
- Haghartsin Monastery - Haghartsin Monastery serves as a spiritual and cultural hub of medieval Armenia, located 12 km from Dilijan amidst dense forests and stunning landscapes. It exemplifies the harmony between architecture and nature. Situated on a plateau surrounded by forested mountains, the Haghartsin monument boasts significant architectural value and features hundreds of inscriptions that provide valuable insights into the socio-political history of medieval Armenia.
- Yell Extreme Park - Situated in Yenoqavan village, Tavush region, Yell Extreme Park is Armenia’s first extreme amusement park, offering thrilling sports activities for enthusiasts without requiring professional skills. The park’s first zip-line flight occurred in July 2015, and by July 2016, visitor numbers exceeded 5,000. During this time, the range of activities expanded. In April 2016, the Rope Park was introduced, offering various sports elements such as rope climbing exercises, obstacle courses, and zip-lines. No prior climbing techniques or special physical fitness experience is needed. For those seeking adrenaline, new experiences, and extreme sports, this park is ideal.
