Pasabag - Also known as Monks Valley, Paşabağ is where you will see conical columns resembling fairy chimneys, used as homes and Orthodox churches by hermits. Fairy chimneys are a renowned feature of Cappadocia, often mentioned even by those who haven’t seen them.
Devrent Valley - “Devrent Valley” translates to “pit and cliff.” The valley is filled with captivating views, showcasing natural rocks with unusual formations, also known as the Valley of Imagination.
Observe the fairy chimneys, which resemble various animal figures, as if walking through an outdoor zoo. Giant fairy chimneys shaped like camels are iconic symbols of the valley. Human figures can also be seen, showcasing nature’s sculptural artistry.
Göreme Open Air Museum - Located 2 kilometers east of Göreme town, the Göreme Open Air Museum is a rock settlement listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its natural and cultural significance. It was a hub of monastic life from the 4th to the 13th century, featuring churches, chapels, dining halls, and seating areas in nearly every rock formation.
Avanos - After lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos village, along the Kızılırmak (Red River), you will explore some of Turkey’s most famous crafts. Ceramic clay, sourced from the red soil and silt brought by Kızılırmak, is shaped by Avanos ceramic artists. The tradition of ceramic making in this district, home to many pottery workshops, dates back to the Hittites.
Uchisar Castle - The final stop of the day is Üçhisar Castle, the tallest chimney in Cappadocia. It is the largest and most beautiful fairy chimney visible throughout Cappadocia. The castle’s summit offers a bird’s-eye view of Cappadocia, providing a breathtaking panorama.
Goreme - At the end of the tour, you will be taken to your hotel, where a clean and comfortable room will be ready for you.
