Experienced and easy going diving school - Second time in Tenerife and second time spending all possible diving days with Barbarian Diving! Had amazing dives with both Kathy and Sergio. We are unexperienced divers, logged 28 dives now and 20 of them with Barbarian Diving, and we learned a lot of them! After diving with Barbarian Diving we became a lot more confident and had a lot of fun! They know where it's the highest possible change of spotting sea life such as angel sharks, sea turtles, rays and big schools of fish. Went boat diving, night diving and did a lot of shore dives. I recommend Barbarian Diving if you’re looking for dives that fit your needs. They really respect your limits and comfort level.

A scuba diving experience that’s out of this world - Katie and Sergio provide a personalised scuba diving experience that’s second to no other. This is the second time I dive with them but the first time with their brilliant Barbarian dive company. I keep coming back as they are highly skilled, professional and really make you feel safe and at ease. i’ve really enjoyed my time and promise to keep coming back for more :-)

Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to dive in Tenerife! - After my experience at Barbarian Diving, I can't help but write a rave review. From start to finish the service was excellent. The material? Brand new. No worn out gear or questionable equipment - everything in top condition. What really sets Barbarian Diving apart is that they deliberately work with small groups. No mass diving where you are treated as a number, but personal attention from the instructor. You have space, you feel safe, and you actually learn something. I must admit: my planning was quite chaotic. Rescheduling appointments, last-minute changes... they could have easily fobbed me off. Instead, they went to all the trouble in the world to help me and keep everything running smoothly. Now that's customer focus. The prices are also very reasonable for what you get. And as the icing on the cake, they film your dive underwater - beautiful images that you get home as a keepsake. Professional, flexible, and passionate about the sport. A life changing diving experience with Kathi and Antonio - I had an outstanding experience with Barbarian Diving and I want to give a special shoutout to Kathi and Antonio, who made my Open Water Diver course unforgettable from the very first moment. My trip to Tenerife was a spontaneous decision and Antonio supported me right away by helping me choose the right course and connecting me with the dive school and with Kathi. From day one, both of them made me feel welcome, safe and excited to start this adventure. The course started on Thursday with theory and basic safety exercises in the water. Even during these first steps I felt completely safe thanks to their calm and clear way of teaching. On Friday we did two dives to twelve meters and on Saturday we reached eighteen meters. Their guidance was excellent and the atmosphere underwater was relaxed and full of joy. They were always focused on safety without ever taking away the fun. On Sunday we added two fun dives down to thirty meters. I even received my certification for this depth on the same day. We explored several spots around the island, including Tabaybar and Abades, and I saw more sea life than I had ever imagined. From sharks to a friendly octopus that gave me a literal handshake, it was a dream. Kathi teaches in German which helped me understand every detail perfectly. Antonio explained everything in excellent English and shared so much knowledge about the ocean, the equipment and the dive sites that I learned far more than I expected from a beginner course. Both of them are passionate professionals who care deeply about safety and about giving every student a great experience. I always felt supported, seen and guided in the best possible way. If you are thinking about doing your first dive or continuing your diving education, book with Barbarian Diving and ask for Kathi and Antonio. I can recommend them with full confidence. Awesome try dive, great for first time divers, friendly, multilingual and knowledgeable staff - Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, the safety briefing was well delivered in English and easy to understand. My partner hadn't dived before and was very nervous but Katy and Sergio were great and made the whole experience really relaxed and enjoyable, especially Considering the tricky conditions on the day, Sergio still made sure we saw as much as possible with limited visibility, would highly recommend for any first time divers that are nervous about diving, I'll be returning at a later date to do my open water with Barbarian.

Great team, great experience - Really recommendable. Good and well maintained equipment, competent team, friendly and patient. I have little experience but felt safe, comfortable and well looked after at all times.

Scuba diving - The instructors was very kind and helpful they were a lovely bunch of people that made mine and my girlfriends experience the best it could be, we had no problems at all and really enjoyed ourselves, we got to see everything they said we would see, 10/10 would highly recommend
