An absolutely stunning experience! - The tour itself it not to miss. Amazing views and an overall incredible experience. We entered Espada Douro a bit on a spontaneous hunch. We had plans to do this tour on our own, but we had trouble arranging the transport. We are so happy that we found this place. Not only is David (English speaking guide) like bringing an AI along - always ready with an answer and more., The flexibility of both David and our driver was impeccable. When reaching the half way mark, we were offered an extensive lunch with Portuguese specialities and a very nice bottle of wine from the valley. - included in the price. My friend decided to stop at this half-way point, which was only possible due to the flexibility of having the a private tour, while I proceeded. The tour also included visits to the historic churches, but we decided not to include this on our tour. If you are a slow walker, a photo enthusiast, or just want to experience at your own pace, these guys got you covered.

Great tour in any weather - For people who likes adventure, hike, and authentic food. On the day of the tour it was huge rain and we almost changed our plans, but decided to go as our tour guide had rain jackets and umbrellas. The experience was amazing and the rain didn't ruin our impression of beautiful nature around. Plus, it was no people at all, just us on the trail that made it easy to stop and take pictures. After, we went to local restaurant for the authentic food and wine that was amazing. Highly recommend.

Great Guides and Scenic Hike, But Tour Value Needs Improvement - My friend and I recently went on a tour that featured a 4km hike and a suspension bridge crossing, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our tour guides, Elvis and Luana, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the journey. The hike itself was enjoyable, offering beautiful scenery and a good bit of exercise. The highlight was undoubtedly the suspension bridge, which provided an exhilarating experience and fantastic views. The timing to get to the bridge was crucial, as it coordinated with when we could be on the suspension bridge, adding a bit of excitement to the experience. However, I did feel the tour was somewhat overpriced for what it included. The hike and the bridge crossing together took about an hour, and the additional activities, like visiting the church by the restaurant and park, were rather uneventful. While the tour offers the option to extend the walk to a 7km trek, this pushes lunch even later into the afternoon. By that time, we were very hungry, which affected our enjoyment of the extended hike. That said, the lunch was fantastic and made up for the tour's shortcomings. The goat meat with vegetables and homemade bread was delicious and satisfying, providing a perfect end to the experience. In summary, while the guides were excellent and the hike and bridge were enjoyable, the overall value of the tour could be improved. However, the incredible lunch was a definite highlight and somewhat compensated for the tour's cost.
