A dream becoming a reality! Privilege of life - We had an excellent experience with Meijo! All staff served us very well, from the initial care, removing our doubts and during the Safari. Safari was a dream! Really a privilege to have in life. Our guide (Godbless) knew absolutely everything, extensive knowledge about nature, animals and parks. We felt very safe and happy with the experience. Thank you for helping us in our dream!

4 days safari ( Tarangire, Serengeti, Crater of Ungoro) - Communication with Meijo (Marcelina) was excellent and very fast. I loved the transparency of costs. Each activity was offered separately. If you find a cheaper price or want to choose a cheaper option, Meijo will adapt it to your own needs. Already on the first day, when the room was not ready on arrival, Marcelina quickly adapted the plan. We simply preferred the Arusha Market Tour and it organised a way to freshen up. The 4-day safari (1 day Tarangire, 2 days Serengeti, 1⁄2 day Ngorongoro Crater) was perfect for our needs. She was exhausting but exactly what we wanted:) If you want to be more relaxed, you should plan 1–2 days more. Michael did his best to pack as much as possible into these days – which we managed to do. We were more than satisfied with the number of animals we saw: the Big 5, more than 25 lions, 6 cheetahs (including 2 babies). Michael’s experience has been the decisive factor for success. I definitely recommend booking the balloon flight over the Serengeti, as you can see the park from a completely different perspective and reach areas that are not accessible by car. It is quite expensive compared to ballooning in other parts of the world (we have $500 p. P. paid), but definitely worth it. We asked various other guests who had not booked directly through the safari agency and they paid $600 – so you should definitely book directly through Meijo. The accommodations chosen were excellent (food, cleanliness and Service). The only problem sometimes was the Wi-Fi connection in the lodges.

Spectacular safari with excellent Joel. Don’t hesitate - book now for the trip of a lifetime. From London Honeymooners! - We had a magical time on our honeymoon with Meijo safaris. Michael was incredibly responsive, courteous and knowledgable. Nothing was too much to ask. We went for a luxury trip and every hotel/lodge was exceptional - we couldn’t believe how good it was. The director of Meijo met us at the Arusha hotel (Gran Melia) on the first day and talked us through exactly how it would all work, which was very comforting and helpful. On to our guide, Joel: what a legend! Lovely man with EXCEPTIONAL knowledge of birds and an eagle eye for all animals. If you love birds, ask for Joel to be your guide! We had seen 4 of the big 5 in just 1.5 days, including 2 leopards. On day 3 we then completed the big 5 when we saw three cheetahs, one walked right in-front of the car. Incredible. We added the Massai visit and hot air balloon to our trip. Would recommend both of those, especially the Massai visit which was quite unforgettable for two Londoners. Trip of a lifetime! - Everything about this trip, and company, was absolutely incredible. I booked with Meijo based on all the fabulous reviews and I’m so glad I did. The planning process with Daudi via WhatsApp was so easy, with brilliant communication and professionalism. I picked a package on SafariBookings and personalised it to make it exactly what we wanted. Our guide, Michael, was more than we could have ever asked for - so friendly, kind, helpful, funny, knowledgeable - there aren’t enough words! He truly went above and beyond for us and we are so, so grateful. We only did a 4 day trip Arusha - Tangerie - Serengeti - Ngorogoro (I now realised this is super short for the massive distances we covered), and we saw so much that would have been impossible without him. He’s been a guide for over 5 years and it truly shows, the way he knows other guides, lodge staff, as well as of course the animals, roads, distances, everything!!! We also would have missed our flight if it wasn’t for him checking with me multiple times (they often get changed!).
