Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - Located in Tanzania’s Manyara Region, Tarangire National Park derives its name from the Tarangire River that traverses the park. Spanning approximately 2,850 square kilometers (1,100 square miles), the park features granitic ridges, river valleys, and swamps. Its vegetation includes Acacia and Combretum woodlands, seasonally flooded grasslands, and baobab trees. The park is renowned for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. During the dry season from June to November, visitors can witness vast herds of zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo. Other frequently seen animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, honey badgers, and African wild dogs also inhabit the park. Guests will be picked up early from their hotel for a game drive in Tarangire, followed by an overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - In the morning, guests will be transferred to Serengeti National Park for a game drive. This Tanzanian national park, part of the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions, is celebrated for the annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebra, as well as its numerous Nile crocodiles and honey badgers.

Serengeti National Park - On the third day, guests will have the opportunity to witness the renowned wildebeest migration, considered the 8th natural wonder of the world. The guide will lead them to a spot where they can observe the migration and also see the Big Five.
Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Early in the morning, guests will depart from Serengeti National Park and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This protected area and World Heritage Site is situated 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in Tanzania’s Crater Highlands. Named after the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera, the area is managed by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, a branch of the Tanzanian government. Guests will spend the night here, preparing to descend into the crater the following day.
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha town
Ngorongoro Crater - On the final day, guests will rise early to descend into the Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, formed when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed two to three million years ago. It is 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep, with a floor covering 260 square kilometers (100 square miles). The original volcano’s height is estimated between 4,500 and 5,800 meters (14,800 to 19,000 feet). The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. In February 2013, the crater was recognized by Seven Natural Wonders as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders in Arusha, Tanzania. The Ngorongoro volcano was active from about 2.45 to 2 million years ago. After lunch, guests will leave the crater and return to Arusha for hotel drop-off.
