Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - After an early breakfast, we will set off for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the sole water source for wildlife in the area during the dry season. The park features dense vegetation in some areas, with elephant grass and acacia woodlands. It is renowned for its elephant families, often seen gathering by the river. Tarangire is the prime location to observe these gentle giants in their natural environment, from the cute calves to the formidable bulls. You might also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, followed closely by predators like lions and leopards. Tarangire boasts more breeding bird species than any other place on Earth. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we will proceed to our accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Africa Lake Manyara Safari Lodge.

Mto wa mbu to Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti with game viewing along the way. Serengeti is arguably the most famous wildlife sanctuary globally, unmatched for its natural beauty and scientific significance. It hosts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa. The park is perhaps best known for the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest and around 200,000 zebras move south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains in October and November, then head west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. This ancient migratory instinct is so strong that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can stop them. Serengeti is truly the home of the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration. The park is teeming with wildlife, endless plains, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late in the afternoon, we will drive to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Intimate Seronera Camps.

Full Day at Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti National Park - Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. The park is most famous for the spectacular migration of over a million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras that occurs annually and is believed to have the largest pride of lions in Africa. You will spend the entire day exploring this incredible wildlife migration with your packed hot lunch. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation at Intimate Seronera Camps.

Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa mbu

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, you will drive to the crater gate and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day tour with a hot lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spanning 20 kilometers in diameter and covering an area of 300 square kilometers. It is rich in history, stunning views, and home to over 25,000 large wild animals, including Cape buffalo, black rhinoceros, and hippopotamus. Lions and elephants can also be spotted here. This unique environment offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Later in the evening, you will ascend and head back to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay and dinner at Lake Manyara Africa Safari Lodge.
