Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Begin your adventure with an 8:30 AM pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. As Tanzania’s third-largest national park, it is renowned for its stunning baobab trees that tower over the wildlife below. The Tarangire River is the heart of this park, famous for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. You might also encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. After the game drive, return to your camp or lodge for a delightful dinner.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following a hearty breakfast, set off towards the Serengeti National Park, traveling through the vast, open grasslands. The Serengeti is considered one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, where you might witness the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, or spot a pride of lions resting in the shade. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the day’s game drive. Conclude the exciting day with a satisfying dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Spend the entire day on a game drive in the central Serengeti National Park. The areas visited will depend on the herds’ locations. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains, while in the longer rainy season from April to June, they move back north. A visit to the Serengeti Visitor Centre is also an option, where you can learn about the park’s history and the research conducted by the Frankfurt Zoological Society.

Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast at your accommodation in the Serengeti, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, then proceed to your accommodation in Karatu, near Ngorongoro.

Karatu to Arusha

Karatu - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Karatu before leisurely driving back to Arusha for drop-off.

This is a wonderful tour package that will give you an exciting opportunity to visit the most beautiful parks in the Northern Tanzania. This package will include visiting the endless plains of Serengeti National Park where you will be able to see all the big five and also Tarangire National park for huge number of elephants and the Ngorongoro Crater locally known as the garden of animals which offers a good chance to spot the big five.

In this option, you will stay in public campsites, located inside (For Serengeti / Ngorongoro) or outside the park ( For Lake Manyara / Tarangire). Accommodation will be in waterproof 2-person-tents (2.5m x 2.5m and 1.8m high) with built-in mosquito nets at the entrances and windows. The dome tents will be pitched overnight at the public campsite and packed in the morning. You will be sleeping on foam mattress and will have access to shared public bathrooms and toilets.
