Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, guests will collect their lunch boxes and embark on the journey to the Serengeti. Along the way, the expansive beauty of Africa’s open plains will unfold. By afternoon, the group will arrive at the Serengeti, where lunch will be served at the camp. The afternoon will be spent game viewing in the vast Serengeti plains, offering the chance to observe the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, or perhaps a pride of lions resting in the shade. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Tented Lodge.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, with lunch at a scenic picnic spot along the way. Depending on the season, guests might witness the great migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson gazelles. The driver-guide may also spot lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and antelopes during the safari. After the game drive, guests will return to their Tented camp for a restful evening and dinner.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - The thrilling sounds of Africa will awaken guests from their slumber. The day begins at 08:00 with a morning game drive, followed by a journey to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s famous archaeological discoveries, including some of the earliest known human ancestral remains. Picnic lunches will be enjoyed at the Gorge before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ngorongoro Crater to Airport

Ngorongoro Crater - Although today may be ‘departure day’, there is still time to experience another breathtaking spectacle before heading home. Ngorongoro Crater, often hailed as a wonder of the world, will be explored during an early morning game drive. The volcanic caldera, the world’s largest, is filled with grassland, forest, and swamp, creating a stunning landscape. The crater’s permanent water source supports a resident population of over 25,000 large mammals, including elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, baboons, and even the rare black rhino. After the morning game drive, a picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the crater before returning to the airport for the flight home.
