Transfer from airport to hotel

Arusha - Guests will be warmly welcomed at the airport and then transported to their hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay.

If time permits (i.e., if the flight arrives early), guests will be taken on a tour around the city of Arusha, including a visit to the cultural heritage museum to provide an insight into the diverse Tanzanian cultures and the daily lives of the locals.

Game drive in Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - The tour guide will meet guests at the hotel early in the morning. After a delightful early breakfast, the guide will provide a brief overview of what to expect on the tour before beginning the drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its “tree climbing lions,” but it also offers a wide variety of species, including the iconic African Elephants, Giraffes, and various bird species like Flamingos and Pelicans. The park’s lush forests and acacia woodlands provide opportunities to encounter elusive species like Leopards. Additionally, guests can enjoy the stunning scenery of Lake Manyara itself, offering a picturesque backdrop to this incredible game drive. Finally, guests will be taken to their overnight lodging in the nearby area.

Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - The game drive to Serengeti National Park will commence shortly after breakfast. Guests will pass by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to view its crater from above.

The journey will transition from forested highlands to expansive plains. Along the route, diverse wildlife such as buffalo, elephants, and antelopes can be spotted. There will also be a stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site that offers insights into human evolution.

Upon entering Serengeti National Park, the landscape opens to iconic savannah vistas. Game viewing continues with sightings of giraffes, zebras, and predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. During the game drive, there will be a stop for a picnic lunch at a perfect site in the middle of the Serengeti, then exploration of the savannah plains will continue. Finally, as the day begins to wind down, guests will be taken to their accommodation, where they can relax within the wilderness and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - On the second day of the Serengeti adventure, another exciting game drive will take place after breakfast.

This day’s journey delves deeper into the heart of the Serengeti, where the vast plains await. Guests should keep their eyes peeled for the Big Five and other iconic wildlife species that roam these savannahs. The drive will traverse diverse landscapes, from acacia-dotted grasslands to rocky kopjes that serve as lookout points for predators. The game drive includes strategic stops for wildlife sightings and photography opportunities. Midday, a delightful picnic lunch will be enjoyed amidst the wilderness. As the day progresses, the safari continues with more encounters with giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even elusive leopards lounging in the trees. As the sun begins to set, guests will return to their accommodation, filled with unforgettable memories of the Serengeti and anticipation for the adventures that await tomorrow.

Game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - On this day, guests will bid farewell to the Serengeti and embark on a game drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater. This leg of the adventure promises breathtaking views as the group descends into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Cameras should be ready, as this is the best chance to spot the most elusive member of the Big Five—the rhinoceros.

As the crater floor is navigated, guests should look out for lions lounging under acacia trees, herds of elephants roaming the plains, and graceful antelopes grazing in the distance.

Within this picturesque landscape, there will be a pause for a scenic picnic lunch, soaking in the panoramic views.

As the day draws to a close, the group will ascend from the crater and head towards their accommodation.

Visiting Maasai villages on a cultural tour

Boma la Ngombe - As the safari adventure concludes, the journey back to Arusha will take place after breakfast, passing by a Maasai boma for a glimpse into their rich culture. Reflecting on the Serengeti and Ngorongoro experiences, guests will carry cherished memories of wildlife and landscapes. Transfer from hotel to the airport

Arusha - Guides will pick up the guests at the hotel and drive them to JRO International Airport for their return flight home. If time allows, there will be a stop at a local gift shop, giving guests a chance to acquire some memorable souvenirs.
