Masailand Safari & Lodge - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, the Safari coordinator will greet guests and arrange a transfer to Masailand Safari Lodge. Here, a briefing for the safari will take place, and guests will stay overnight. The camping gear and sleeping bags will be checked, and guests will have the opportunity to choose their preferred meals for the safari.
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, the driver-guide will pick up guests to begin the safari. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 3 hours. This park is stunning year-round, with many migratory wildlife species gathering at the Tarangire River’s permanent waters. Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and oryx congregate until the rains begin, prompting them to migrate to better grazing areas. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Travel to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, a journey of 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site in the eastern Serengeti plains, known for the discovery of early human fossils. The landscape is breathtaking, earning the Maasai name Serengeti – Endless Plains. In the evening, enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti, an ideal time to observe wildlife, especially carnivores, as they prefer to hunt at this time. Return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay before nightfall.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, explore the Serengeti’s watering holes, hippo pools, and other attractions during a full-day game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch at midday while taking in the vastness of the Serengeti, home to the largest concentration of plain game on earth. Return to the Lodge in the late evening for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Serengeti / Ngorongoro
Serengeti National Park - Begin the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti after breakfast, then travel to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge in the afternoon. Upon reaching the crater’s rim, guests can relax and enjoy dinner, spending the night at Rhino Lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This is one of the best locations to see the rare black rhino in Africa, along with prides of lions and the impressive black-maned lions. The crater is also home to colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Visitors may also encounter leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, various antelope species, and small mammals. In the late afternoon, travel to Karatu town for dinner and rest at the lodge.
Lake Eyasi
Lake Eyasi - Following a hearty breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi. The lake’s shores are teeming with diverse birdlife, making it an excellent spot for a few nights’ stay. The meadows along the shore host a variety of wildlife, including the elusive leopard, hippos, various monkeys, and both greater and lesser flamingos. Several charming private lodges and tented camps are nestled in the forest clearings by the lake, offering excellent accommodations made largely from local materials.
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, embark on a morning drive from Lake Eyasi to Manyara National Park, a journey of about 2 hours before entering the park. Commonly seen in Lake Manyara National Park are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and warthogs, among others. Before nightfall, guests will be driven back to Moshi or Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
