Located in the Northern circuit, 120 km from Arusha, it takes about 2 hours to reach. Although the sixth largest park in Tanzania, Tarangire offers more than you can imagine. It is renowned for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. The park’s unique and diverse landscapes set it apart from others in the Northern circuit. The permanent water source attracts numerous wild animals during the dry season. Visitors can spot herds of elephants, buffalos, and populations of lions, giraffes, and leopards. Tarangire is a hidden gem for explorers. Drive through the savannah to learn about small creatures and observe many animals. As the afternoon ends, head to your lodge outside the park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Serengeti is an expansive and wild game park, covering nearly 15,000 sq km. Known as “the endless plains” by the nomadic Maasai, it is a must-see for travelers. The park is home to the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Bush Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino. It is also famous for the annual migration and stunning landscapes. After game viewing, proceed to the lodge inside the park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Game Drive Northern Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, your driver guide will take you on a game drive en route north to witness the world’s most fascinating animals. Along the way, spot giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and more. Arrive in the Northern region around noon, have lunch, and then head to the Mara River to witness the river crossing. The annual wildebeest migration in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the world’s most impressive natural events. Recall scenes from “The Lion King” as you experience the real spectacle. Feel, see, and hear the thrilling sounds of the migration. As the afternoon ends, drive to your tented lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Full Day Game Drive in Northern Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Northern Serengeti. If the river crossing was missed yesterday, head back to the river today. Focus on the Great Migration, spending the entire day by the Mara River, a renowned spot for river crossings. The Mara River, located in the Mara Region, spans both Kenya and Tanzania. Over 1.2 million wildebeest and zebras, along with gazelles and topis, move in a constant cycle through the plains to the Mara ecosystem in search of nutritious grass and water each year. This is the time when predators like leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and crocodiles ensure only the strongest survive. In the evening, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Game Drive En-route
Serengeti National Park - Rise early for a sunrise drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Before leaving the Northern part of the stunning Serengeti, take the opportunity to spend more time observing the natural wonders at the Mara River. Besides the large herds, other wildlife in Northern Serengeti includes giraffes, impalas, hartebeests, and waterbucks. Your driver-guide will be on the lookout for these, as well as various bird species spotted here. In the afternoon, return to the central part of Serengeti. Arrive in the late evening, check in, freshen up, and head to the main area for dinner while enjoying the park’s spectacular views.
Final Game Drive Central Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Awaken to the sounds of Africa, freshen up, and head to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver guide will take you on a final game drive in the park.
