From the Campsite to Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - Today, guests will explore Lake Manyara National Park, situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is celebrated for its diverse ecosystems, including towering fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany forests, and open grassy floodplains.

Lake Manyara’s soda lake attracts large flocks of flamingos and numerous other bird species, making it a premier destination for birdwatching with over 400 species recorded. Visitors may also spot the famous tree-climbing lions resting in acacia trees, a rare and unique sight.

During the game drive, a variety of animals such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, and possibly predators like leopards and cheetahs can be seen. The park’s varied landscape offers excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.
