• Mount Kilimanjaro - Begin your journey with a drive to Marangu Gate, the gateway to the breathtaking Kilimanjaro. The drive takes just an hour, but the scenic countryside, featuring coffee and banana plantations, and the charming Marangu village, will captivate you. Kilimanjaro’s majestic presence looms ahead.

Initially, the trail is narrow as it winds through the lush, misty rainforest, where trees are draped in moss. The canopy above is filled with birdsong and mysterious rustlings. You might spot a mongoose scurrying by. Along the way, you’ll encounter weary hikers making their descent from the summit.

The hike takes about three hours, so take a break to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Hut. Once refreshed, embark on the short yet challenging trek to the Maundi Crater. On a clear day, the views to the east over Taveta and to the northwest towards Mawenzi Peak are breathtaking. After soaking in the stunning scenery, you’ll hike back down to Marangu Gate, where our vehicle will be ready to take you, content and tired, back to Moshi.
