Mto wa Mbu - The lively farming community of Mto Wa Mbu, located between Manyara and Ngorongoro, is home to around 18,000 residents. This cultural melting pot is one of the few places in Tanzania where all 120 tribes coexist harmoniously. Despite its name, which means ‘Mosquito River’ due to the village’s constant water source, there are fortunately not many mosquitoes.
