Other wildlife includes the lesser kudu, eland, lions, zebras, leopards, warthogs, hyenas, waterbucks, wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk, hartebeest, Grant’s gazelles, Thomson’s gazelles, and over 400 bird species.

Tarangire National Park provides an excellent game viewing in the vast grasslands and scrubs where antelopes find its shade during sunny day time. Predators stalk near Tarangire River for easy find of its kills from hundreds of herbivores which flocks in for watering during the mid-day.
