Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Arusha at 8 am and taken to a truly unique national park. Tarangire is renowned for its diverse landscapes, featuring nine distinct vegetation zones. The park is particularly famous for its abundance of ancient baobab trees (the largest trees on the continent) that dominate the landscape and tower over the animals. The park’s river teems with life, from a wide variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, elephants. Tarangire is known as the home of elephants, boasting the highest concentration of these majestic creatures in the entire country, offering unique opportunities to observe elephant family interactions. The lunch area is captivating, with an observatory offering stunning views of the river and wildlife, with a good chance of witnessing a hunt during your picnic.

Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - Enjoy a beautiful short journey across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara Park for a full outdoor game drive. Although small in size (205 sq. miles), the park offers breathtaking scenery and is well-known for its lush tree forests, large fig and mahogany trees, and a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes. The lake is home to a significant number of hippos. Unique features of this park include tree-climbing lions, flamingos along the lake shore, as well as the ground hornbill bird and the Crested Eagle. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are indescribable, and the game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground with the lake (and its flamingos) in the background. On this day, additional tours are possible, including a bike tour or a boat excursion. In the afternoon, transfer to the camp for dinner.
