Arusha - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to the office in Arusha. Being local Tanzanians, the guides possess extensive knowledge of the country and Arusha city, ensuring you are well taken care of from the moment you arrive until your departure. It is advisable to spend the night in Arusha before embarking on the safari, as the safaris typically commence early in the morning.

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the journey from the accommodation in Arusha to Serengeti National Park begins, taking approximately 6 hours, including all stops, as it passes through the Ngorongoro Crater. A brief stop at the gate and viewpoint offers a stunning view of the crater. Subsequently, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, arriving in the late afternoon for a game drive in Seronera, the heart of Serengeti, until late evening to witness the magnificent Serengeti sunset. Overnight accommodations will be at the Serengeti Safari Lodge.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro National Park

Serengeti National Park - An early breakfast is followed by a morning game drive to observe a variety of wildlife. After returning to the campsite for lunch, an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti is planned. Upon completion, the journey to the lodge, a 2-hour drive, will commence, where dinner and an overnight stay near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater await.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, the descent into the crater begins at 6:15 am, with the aim of spotting the elusive black rhino, as they are the most challenging to find in the picturesque crater. The park’s floor makes it relatively easy to spot most animals. Following lunch, a game drive will take place before ascending the crater and proceeding to Arusha airport for departure or to a hotel, depending on the schedule.
