Arrival in Arusha

Arusha - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, guests will be warmly greeted by their driver/guide, who will escort them to their hotel in Arusha. The hotel is located on a working coffee plantation, making it an ideal stopover before venturing into Tanzania’s renowned national parks.
The driving distance is 55 km, approximately a 45-minute journey.

Flying to the Serengeti

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will set off to explore Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly Tanzania’s most renowned park. Large herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and countless eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle can be seen year-round. Lions and leopards are easily spotted. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the magnificent Serengeti, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Nimali Serengeti.

Fly to North Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Famous for its prime locations during the Great Migration, Olakira Migration Camp is positioned in the north of the Serengeti from June to November to witness the dramatic wildebeest crossing of the Mara River. Here, guests can observe thousands of wildebeest bravely entering the water, facing hungry Nile crocodiles and territorial hippos. As the herds move, the air is filled with grunting, pounding hooves, and swirling dust. Olakira Migration Camp features nine exquisite stargazing tents with 270-degree views from the bed — the mesh-covered tents provide safety, allowing guests to sleep under a sky full of stars. During the day, housekeepers transform the space into a private viewing deck with a lounge, offering a perfect spot to watch the wildebeest herds move towards the Masai Mara for the epic river crossings.

North Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will explore the remote corners of the Serengeti for a full day of game viewing. With a picnic lunch in hand, enjoy the leisure of discovering this world heritage site, where the planet’s largest concentration of plains game still roams freely! In the evening, guests will head to Lemala Kuria Hill for an overnight stay.

Fly out to Arusha or Zanzibar

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will be transferred to the local Kogatende Airstrip for a 1-hour flight to Arusha Airport or Zanzibar for onward travel plans.
