Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - The safari adventure begins at 8 AM with a vehicle picking up guests from their hotel in Arusha. The journey to Serengeti National Park, approximately 240 kilometers away, will take about 6 hours. The Serengeti’s expansive plains stretch endlessly, covering 14,763 square kilometers. It is home to the renowned “Big 5” animals - elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. Among the most beautiful animals to spot is the Impala. This area is teeming with wildlife roaming freely. The destination is the Seronera area in central Serengeti, a prime location for wildlife due to the Seronera River, which attracts a variety of species. Lions are frequently seen here, and visitors should look out for the large granite boulders known as “Kopjes,” which host diverse plants and animals. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the extensive game drive. The day concludes with a delightful dinner and a restful night at the accommodation.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Today offers two options for exploring the central Serengeti National Park. Guests can either enjoy a leisurely breakfast and set out for a full day of game drives at 9:00 AM, with a packed lunch, returning to the lodge by late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Alternatively, they can choose an early morning game drive starting at 6:00 AM, followed by breakfast and relaxation at the accommodation. Later in the afternoon, another game drive with a packed lunch will take place. The central Serengeti, especially the Seronera area, is renowned for its rich wildlife, particularly lions and leopards. The Seronera River provides vital water, attracting a wide range of animals throughout the year, making it an excellent spot for wildlife viewing even outside of migration periods. During the game drives, a picnic lunch will be enjoyed while exploring the park. The day will wrap up around 5:00 PM.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, the driver-guide will be ready to take guests on a wildlife excursion in Serengeti National Park. Following this adventure, the journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a packed lunch in tow. The Ngorongoro Crater, recognized as the world’s largest collapsed volcanic crater, spans fourteen kilometers of pristine natural landscapes. Encircled by extinct volcanoes, this area features numerous watering holes that provide refuge for approximately 30,000 animals. The day concludes with a satisfying dinner and a comfortable night’s rest at the accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - On the final day of the safari, an early start at around 6:30 AM begins with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. This vast volcanic caldera covers 260 square kilometers and is over 2000 feet deep. Enjoy an exhilarating 5-hour game drive with diverse wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch by the Hippo pool, a steep ascent out of the crater follows. This marks the last leg of the safari, with a 4-hour, 200 km drive back to Arusha. Arrival at the preferred location is expected by 6:00 PM, concluding the safari with a farewell to the team after an unforgettable experience and countless treasured memories.
