Arusha City to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - On the second day, prepare to explore the natural beauty of Tarangire National Park. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning, and you’ll embark on a two-hour drive to the park for a full day of game viewing. As Tanzania’s sixth-largest national park, Tarangire is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including the iconic baobab trees and a high density of elephants. Other common residents include lions, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, vervet monkeys, baboons, and more. After the game drive, you’ll return to your hotel for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Airport

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters into the crater to witness the diverse wildlife that inhabits this area. The crater’s consistent water supply and abundant vegetation make it a sanctuary for a wide range of animals, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hippo, and the majestic African elephant. A major highlight of this area is its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Keep a lookout for these magnificent creatures, some of which may require a keen eye to spot. Enjoy lunch on the crater floor before embarking on a final game drive as you exit the park. Your guide will then return you to Arusha city for drop-off or to the airport for your evening flight.
