From mid-May to late June, under clear skies and calm weather, the pond’s water appears as a clear and transparent cobalt blue, creating a dreamlike scene. In other seasons, the color varies from ordinary blue to blue-green tones. The drive from Biei Patchwork Road/Shirogane Falls to Ningle Terrace takes about 60 minutes. After the itinerary concludes, the return journey to Sapporo takes approximately 2 hours.
