Wonderfully relaxing massage - absolutely recommended! - We went as a couple to Bouchara and her colleague today. We really enjoyed the time in the hammam and also the massage. Both masseuses did an excellent job. Communication was no problem at all, online booking also worked great - although we have reserved at very short notice. Private Hammam experience in Asilah Morocco - It was a wonderful experience. I had a 30 mins hammam and 1 hour massage. The price was very reasonable for two people. It was a private hammam experience with only two of us in the room. I must say this is not my first experience at Hammam Alba. There is always room for improvement and I would like to suggest that after an experience the team should offer some tea or water to the guests and allow them time to relax upstairs in the little lounge area with a beverage just to elevate the experience that little bit more. However, I will always come back as it is a beautiful experience!

I'd give this a pass - This was a very dissapointing experience for me in general. I have experienced Hammam before and was looking forward to it. The washing/scrubbing room was not very warm. The woman who was doing the service literally just splashed water on me and then left the room, for like 5 minutes I was just laying there,freezing, while my husband was getting fully scrubbed. This happened multiple times. Then the lady came back, limply scrubbed my back a bit for a minute and it was over. I was gobsmacked. The massage was a bit better, but still I felt like I was dealing with a person who did not want to be there at all. My husband had a much better experience with his person, which was good. Overall, I found th place to be a bit dirty, and just a tourist trap. I could honestly not recommend it. I feel bad, as I know that people are working to make a living, but we recieved excellent kindness and hospitality throughout our trip, and for me, this was just a no.
