• Asni - Guests will be collected at 08:30 am from their hotel or Riad in a 4WD or minivan to journey towards the High Atlas Mountains. The route includes Tahnaouet (with a local market on Tuesdays), Valley Ghighaya, Moulay Brahim gorges, and Asni (with a market on Saturdays). The drive continues through terraced fields of vegetables and fruit trees, such as walnuts and cherries. Visitors can explore the Asni weekly market and proceed to Imlil (at 1740m), located in the upper foothills of the Western High Atlas Mountains.
• Imlil - This is a primary trailhead with streams and paths extending in all directions from Imlil, renowned for its wonderful array of seasonal activities and charming mountain village atmosphere. Here, the vehicle will be left behind to enjoy a refreshing glass of mint tea in the village and meet the local guide before embarking on a 4km excursion.
• Aroumd - The journey continues south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (at 1843m), passing through the small villages of Ait Souka, Targa-Imoula, and Tagadirte, offering a spectacular view of the High Atlas peaks, including the Toubkal Massif (4167m), Jbels Aguelzim (3547m), Aksouâl (3847m), and Adrar Adj (3122m). A stop at Aroumd includes lunch served by a Berber family. The village is uniquely constructed like a series of houses on a large hillside, overlooking ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, and Toubkal peak. After lunch, the descent on the opposite side of the valley provides a view of the waterfall, passing through Achiem village, returning to Imlil, and then heading back to Marrakech.
