• Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park - The Assin Manso Slave River Site is a revered location where enslaved ancestors took their final bath before being marched to the Cape Coast and Elmina Castles.
• Assin Manso - Following the visit to the riverside, participants will return for a traditional naming ceremony, where they will be given Ghanaian or African names in the local Twi language. A community elder will explain the process of naming a newborn. Enjoy traditional drumming and dancing as a warm welcome to the ceremonial grounds.
• Cape Coast Castle - Constructed by the British for the slave trade, Cape Coast Castle offers insights into the history of Trans-Atlantic Slavery. Visitors can explore the male and female dungeons, the condemned cell, palaver hall, graveyard, and the Door of No Return.

This tour offers a rich cultural, traditional, and historical experience, featuring a traditional naming ceremony and visits to the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site and Cape Coast Castle. In the community, the leader will guide participants through the process of naming a newborn, after which names are given in Twi or Fante, in accordance with tradition and custom, along with explanations of their meanings. The tour then proceeds to Cape Coast Castle, where participants will explore the main slave history by visiting the male and female dungeons, cells, graveyard, and the DOOR OF NO RETURN.

Note: Participants may choose to visit Elmina Castle instead of Cape Coast Castle, based on their preference, but visiting both castles is not possible due to time constraints.
