- Centro Storico di Assisi - The walking tour of Assisi begins with a meeting to explore its ancient Roman ruins. Visitors will see the remnants of the local Roman Amphitheatre and the stunning Minerva Temple, renowned for having one of Italy’s best-preserved facades. The tour also offers a taste of a medieval Italian hilltown by visiting local handicraft shops (pottery, carvings, embroidery, etc.) and strolling through charming little alleys. The highlight of the tour is the Basilica of Saint Francis, featuring magnificent frescoes by Giotto (13th - 14th century), a pivotal artist of the Italian Middle Ages. After a lunch break (not included), the tour continues to Orvieto, another authentic Umbrian hilltown. Orvieto is famed for its Duomo (Orvieto Cathedral), considered one of Europe’s most architecturally significant structures, its Etruscan heritage, and museums showcasing over 2,500 years of history. The tour through Orvieto’s enchanting narrow alleys and quaint squares promises to be a memorable experience.

- Basilica Papale e Sacro Convento di San Francesco d’Assisi - The Temple of Minerva is an ancient Roman structure that now houses the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, constructed in 1539 and renovated in the Baroque style in the 17th century. The temple was originally built in the 1st century by Gnaeus Caesius and Titus Caesius Priscus, who were among the city’s quattuorviri and also funded its construction.
- Santa Maria sopra Minerva - The Temple of Minerva is an ancient Roman edifice that currently accommodates the church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, built in 1539 and refurbished in Baroque style during the 17th century. The temple was erected in the 1st century by Gnaeus Caesius and Titus Caesius Priscus, two of the city’s quattuorviri who also financed its construction.
- Basilica di Santa Chiara - The Basilica of Saint Clare is a church dedicated to Saint Clare of Assisi, containing her remains. She was a follower of Saint Francis of Assisi and the founder of the Order of Poor Ladies, now known as the Order of Saint Clare.

- Centro Storico Orvieto - Wandering through the narrow streets and alleyways is captivating. An early church dedicated to the proto-martyr Lawrence, who died in Rome in 258, was constructed here in the 9th century atop the old Etruscan-Roman forum of the city. No trace of the original building remains.
