On this tour, participants will have the opportunity to explore the stunning Basilica of St. Francis, a grand and globally recognized church dedicated to Assisi’s saint. Visitors will tour both the upper and lower churches, with a particular focus on the frescoes in the upper church.
Following the visit to the Basilica of St. Francis, the tour will continue through the city’s streets to the Sanctuary of the Spoliation, where the body of Blessed Carlo Acutis is preserved.
Due to the display of St. Francis’s remains, guided tours of the basilica will be paused from February 15, 2026, to April 6, 2026. The guide will offer explanations from outside, after which visitors can enter independently.
