Full experience in Abu Simbel - Highly recommendable! Abu Simbel is something you just cannot miss. We had a wonderful driver and a great guide in our own language at no extra cost. Also the place they took us for lunch was fantastic! Everything for a very reasonable price. If you’re in Aswan it is a must.

Amazing day with Samir at Abu Simbel - If you are ever in Egypt and want to go to Abu simbel do not hesitate to book your day with emo tours and ask for Samir. Our day was incredible. It’s an early start but so worth it. We arrived as one of the first groups and had the first temple nearly to ourselves. Picture opportunities and time to see everything. As we were exiting we could see the masses of people arriving on buses. Samir was so accommodating for our group of six. Had a fabulous lunch and we fit in a side trip to a local family owned spice shop. He got us back to the Nile cruise ship on time and we never felt rushed. It was truly a beautiful day and experience. He is very knowledgeable and kind. Do it!!

Abu Simbel the 8th wonder of the world! - Superb excursion with Emo tour to Abu Simbel. Good communication, punctual team, new car, careful driver. An expert guide in Egyptology to accompany us and give us all the information about our visit. As for the Abu Simbel site it is a wonder both externally and internally that deserves to be ranked 8th wonder of the world!

Private transport to Abu Simbel without option 👍 - We only took the excursion with Chauffeur. Very good experience with these drivers. They explained that there must be two of them according to the legislation. The journey went very well. A break was made halfway (even if there were many flies). They even stopped to show us the sunrise in the desert. We had 2 hours at Abu Simbel Temple, which was more than enough for us. We took our seats for the entrance to the temple on the official website (43€ for 2 adults and 2 children). The drivers were waiting for us outside. A driver was super interesting bringing us a lot of information about the country. We left Aswan at 6am which made us arrive at the temple around 9:30am. Ideal because the majority of tourists had left, so we had the temple almost to ourselves. We arrived on Aswan around 2:30 pm. We recommend this tour without hesitation.

Great tour with experienced Egyptologist - We had an amazing tour to Abu Simbel. After a 4am start, we slept for a couple of hours in the car before our guide suggested stopping to see the sunrise over the desert. This was absolutely amazing and unexpected. After this, our guide gave an amazing and detailed history of the temples at Abu Simbel, putting them into context and showing us the important art and history behind them. This meant that once we got to Abu Simbel, we already knew what to look for and didn’t waste time in the (hot!) sun. Our guide was very accommodating and allowed us to explore at our own pace. On the way back he also got us some brilliant falafel and some fruit which was a welcome snack after a very early start. We were back in Aswan for about 2:15pm. The guide’s English was flawless and he gave detailed and interesting responses to our questions. Strongly recommend this tour, amazing guide.

Recommended and good to do it on your own - Pick up and driver very nice and friendly. The temple guide a little short. But it is advisable to do it even if it is a beating

Enjoyed Abu Simbel but use another company - Abu Simbel was amazing, but the tour in general was poor. I would recommend using another operator. First, the guide was trying to cross sell extra tours. After politely declining the first two times, we had to firmly reject him another four times. Asking once or twice is okay but he was pestering us and it was tiresome. He also suggested we needed to buy items from one of the extra stops (not on the tour) for our cruise along the Nile and if we bought through him it wouls be cheaper. We didn't need what he was selling. Instead of trying to cross sell, the guide should have focused on telling us more about Abu Simbel and Egypt. Second, he made us feel very uncomfortable on several occasions. He insisted on looking at, and handling, our USD and gave us some of his at the same time. I'm not sure if we ended up with the same notes or even the same amount (but we probably did). In any event, it made us feel awkward and like we were being conned. Third, he took us to a restaurant for breakfast after Abu Simbel that was below par and made us sick. The food was okay but I chose not to have the drink because I was worried about the ice. This caused a scene in the restaurant because the guide insisted I was disrespecting the restaurant and that I was concerned over nothing. But we were right to be suspicious, as me and my partner were sick after this meal for the next 5 days. This made it harder to enjoy the rest of our trip.
