An Eye Opening Adventure Packed With Thrilling Moments - We were a group of friends looking for adventure. Our experience was thrilling and eye opening. The admission fee gets you access to some incredible places. The 4 day length kept the energy high. The atmosphere was charged with excitement each day. The crowd size was fun and we made new friends. The staff were energetic and matched our vibe. This is best for active friends who love exploration. Here is a quick story. While sailing to Kom Ombo, we saw local kids on the riverbank waving and shouting hello. Our whole group went to the rail and waved back, shouting greetings. The captain gave a little toot of the ship's horn. It was a spontaneous, joyful moment of connection that wasn't in any brochure. The ship was our adventure basecamp. The sundeck was the spot for post tour chats and drinks. The temple visits were incredible. Abu Simbel's scale has to be seen to be believed. The hot air balloon ride was the absolute peak of the adventure. Soaring silently over the desert at dawn is unforgettable. Our tour guide in Luxor had a great sense of humor. The itinerary is packed but in a good way. You feel like you're really using your time well. The mix of transportation methods kept it interesting.

A Perfectly Organized Nile Journey From Start To Finish - We had an amazing time. The whole experience was so well organized from the moment we landed. The admission fee covered almost everything which was great. We spent about 4 days total on the trip. The atmosphere on the ship was relaxed and upscale. The crowd size was perfect, not too many people. The staff on the cruise were incredibly attentive and friendly. This is best for couples or friends looking for a comprehensive trip. I have to tell a quick story. On the first night, we were sitting on the deck as the ship started to sail from Aswan. The sunset over the Nile was just incredible, all orange and purple. Everyone was quiet just watching it. It was one of those perfect travel moments you never forget. The ship itself was very comfortable. Our cabin was clean and had a great window view. The food was a nice mix of local and international dishes. The visit to Abu Simbel was a long drive but so worth it. Those giant statues are unbelievable. Our guide there was very knowledgeable and told us all about how they moved the temple. Sailing to Kom Ombo was so peaceful. Seeing the river life go by from the deck was a highlight itself. The hot air balloon ride in Luxor was an early start but magical. Floating over the Valley of the Kings at sunrise is something else. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. It gives you a great taste of Egypt's history and beauty without any stress.

We had a very nice cruise on the Nile. ... - I had a wonderful cruise on the Nile. I booked this Nile cruise when both were cancelled suddenly and was immediately contacted via WhatsApp, which was a great relief. Whatever your inquiry, you got back almost immediately. Apparently, we found out later that the Nile cruise departing on Tuesday was not running, but we hope you have arranged it for us. The ship from the second night was also upgraded and we were able to enjoy the cruise very comfortably. I got to know people from different countries in the same group very well (although we hardly speak English), and it was a great trip. Rest assured that we may have been slow to contact you about our next appointment. I'll be in touch. Your guide will pick you up on time. The guides change every time depending on the ruins you visit, but all of them were lovely. I gave you tips on a case-by-case basis. I was able to get in the balloons that I was worried about, I was able to get in the carriages, everything in the description was done properly. I think this tour is credible. I didn't have much information when I booked, so I hope this information helps in some way.

Our first time Nile river cruise experience😊 - It’s our first time to visit Egypt and really enjoyed so much!! The cruise is gorgeous and feel so good to be on deck seeing the Nile river. Every temple is unique and has a history and we learned so much from our guide. Demiana and Rita are sooo nice and had a lot of knowledge. The only we regret is the cancellation of the balloon… (it’s because of the weather so nothing we can do.) So we would like to come back here again😊

Amazing Single Room Experience - The Queen Isis I was on was an old little boat, but it was a very enjoyable and happy experience for me. The food was always delicious. The Aswan guide and the Luxor guide Nervien made the beginning and end well. Above all, there was a single room and the single room location was so impressive. Very small but a room with a balcony in front was a happy time.

Very nice cruise with a few notes - At the time of our booking this offer had only 5 reviews, so we were initially very skeptical. However, we had already booked the same cruise with two other providers. However, some of these were cancelled a few days before our trip, on the grounds that the departure was postponed and we could leave either a day earlier or later than planned. But since we had already booked our flights, hotels etc., that was not an option for us. However, this provider then assured us that they will start on our desired travel date and this was also the case. However, it is certainly advisable to contact the provider on whichever tour beforehand to clarify exactly that (the usual departure days are apparently more Monday, Wednesday and Friday). All in all, this is a very nice and interesting cruise. The ship and crew exceeded all our expectations. We booked this cruise mainly to see as many sights as possible and learn a lot about the history of the country. The ship was therefore actually more of a means to an end for us and we did not have many expectations of the room, cleanliness etc. But you really have to say that everything was very satisfactory for us and we really had a nice time. Rooms are pleasantly large and are cleaned daily. The crew is always friendly and helpful. The food definitely exceeded our expectations for a cruise and there was a lot of variation (we were initially hesitant about the salad bar, but after a day and watching other guests we dared and really had no problems, even with an otherwise very sensitive stomach). There were also plenty of options for vegetarians and especially the Oriental dinner was an absolute highlight for us. Regarding drinks, we have read on other cruises that they are very expensive, but this was not the case with us. For example, a Coke can costs about €1.50. Only alcohol is more oriented towards European prices with about 4€ per beer. For the sightseeing tours we had always contact with our tour organizer enjy. With her we had permanent contact via WhatsApp and she organized for us the respective tours with transfer and everything that goes with it. She was constantly trying to make us have a nice time and was always open to questions. For the tours themselves we always had local guides at the respective locations. They were always well informed and could also answer all our questions. We liked some tours better than others, but this is very subjective. For example, some guides spoke better English than others. Besides, some have also helped us, which are the usual amounts of tips. You will give these very often in Egypt, because the tour guides, riders etc. depend on them. Therefore, it is good to know not to give too much, otherwise the holiday will quickly become more expensive than thought. Overall you look at a lot, which is interesting, but often you only have 1-2 hours per temple complex. For the most important information and a few pictures, this is certainly enough, but who likes to take a lot of time to look at things is probably wrong with whichever Nile cruise. We still have a small remark! Unfortunately, the schedule given here on Viator does not quite match the reality. For example, when booking we stated that we would like to be picked up at 10am to have breakfast in peace. However, we were then advised to start at 8 am one day before departure, otherwise you do not have enough time for all the sights. Although there would have been the possibility to start at 10 am, but here might be a note at the time of booking that you have less time for the sights at a later departure time, as we assumed based on the description here that we will visit them only after lunch on board. Also, the description said that we will visit the Luxor Temple on day 3. However, we only learned from our organizer on request that we would not be able to do so until 4 April. Visit day. Departure times in the morning also differed from the online description. Here, perhaps, an actual schedule at the beginning of the trip would have been beneficial.

I was very happy. - Talaat Abdo The guide explained to us with a great deal of knowledge. It's tough because you act early in the morning, but it's especially recommended for those who are confident in their physical strength.

Nice ship, but exhausting organization - People who're looking for the honest German reviews - Here it is ;) I don't think I've ever come back so exhausted from a trip, like this cruise. We did think it was gonna be somewhat relaxing to travel by boat, but the truth is, it is way too much programm in too little time. And thus, if it's not perfectly organized, it's exhausting to a point where you don't care about the sights anymore. Couple of tips ahead, if you're planning to do this: - Skip Abu Simbel or do it before/after the cruise, the 4 days are packed enough - if you can book your whole Egypt trip with a huge professional company like Tui or so - I usually never do that, but apparently in Egypt traveling by yourself is about as difficult as in India (I've lived there, I know what I'm taking about) - Book a tour with a guide on board I'll just describe our experience and you can decide for yourself, if you want to do this: Day 1: Pickup at the train station worked well. Instead of being brought to the ship as it was planned we went straight to temple of Philea to do the sightseeing. Nice and competent driver and guide. We were told the dam is already closed (on the internet it said it would still be open), but we didn't care too much about the dam. Now several hours later we checked in as the last people on the boat, which meant we got the worst room - directly above the maschine room. It is insanely loud, I could still hear the noise despite ear plugs and noise cancelling earphones. Since we were the last ones to check in and the ship was fully booked there was no possibility to switch rooms and the tour company did nothing about the noise issue either (not even a little gesture from the boat or something). In the evening arguing with the tour company about when to get up. It said in the itenerary to get up at 16:30 - I assumed that meant 6:30 and learned then, it meant 4:30. But we were picked up even earlier, despite our protests. Day 2: Getting up at 3 a.m. in order to be picked up at 3:15 am. Bus picked us up and then some other tour guest and after about 15 minutes drive we waited for 20-30 minutes in the tiny little bus for the driver to buy water and some cookies for us, despite us having gotten meal packages from the boat. 4,5h drive to Abu Simbel - the driver easily could've won an award in slowliness - I am not exaggerating when I'm saying that every single vehicle - bus, lorry, moped, you name it - passed us by because the driver drove about 50-60 km/h. Another useless break about 10 minutes before Abu simbel in some dirty place, trash lying everywhere, where we all only got out of the bus in order to stretch out. The mini bus was neither comfortable nor did it have AC, as it says in the itinerary. I'm not tall, about 1,68 (5ft6) and I could not sit normally in the seat cause my knees were pressing in the seat before me. Thankfully the bus wasn't completly full. We got out at Abu simbel, despite the plan no guide there, so we walked around. No time to return, we texted the tour guide, no answer for over an hour. Abu simbel is not big, one hour there is more than enough. We were running around trying to find the driver, then we were told we would go back at 10:00 a.m. and were on time, while the rest of the group was told 10:30 am. Almost 5 hour drive back and it would've been longer if I hadn't intervened at some point. Came back to the boat at shortly before 3 pm, so we're on the road for almost 12 hours. At our table was a couple that left at 6 am and came back 10 minutes after us - this way we knew, you can do the trip in three hours less. Edfu temple at night - we almost missed the entry because the boats were late, guide was good, but we were told to wait inside the boat which makes no sense, when the entire boat tries to get off quickly in order to still see the temple. Went to bed at like 10 (straight after dinner). Day 3: Got up at 5:00 am in order to be picked up at 5:15 am, pickup was 15 minutes late. We got stuffed in a carriage and drove to Horus temple. There we waited in a huge queue in the cold and dark until the gates opened and even after the gates had opened for more than one hour, until our guide and the rest of the group appeared. I'm assuming that the rest of the group was simply picked up much later. We then had to rush through a super crowed Horus temple in about 30 minutes, in order to make it back in time for the boat. On the way back our carriage was nowhere to be found and we had to squish in with another couple (poor horses). We then had breakfast and chilled on the boat. Arrived in Luxor just in time (very close call) to see Luxor temple at night, excellent driver and guide there. The guide also waited for one hour in the parking lot for us. Luxor temple at night is really marvelous. Day 4: My friend left early morning so I did a day tour by myself with the driver and guide. The guide didn't enter in the sights with me, except at Karnak and there she maybe came with me for 20 minutes tops. But they did arrange for the driver to hold my luggage and pick me up to go to the bus stop. I definitely would not do this tour again. Why three stars you're asking? 1 - excellent boat, spacious rooms, clean, very comfy (apart from the noise), good food, good service 2 - it IS a nice trip, beautiful nature, amazing temples 3 - Some of the tour was good, especially the guides in Horus and Luxor temple. Hope this helps you.
