Following lunch, you will be transported to visit The High Dam, constructed by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to safeguard Egypt from the Nile’s flooding. Next, enjoy a motorboat sail on the Nile to reach the Temple of Philae, built during the Graeco-Roman era and dedicated to the goddess Isis. Finally, you will be guided to see The Unfinished Obelisk.
Kom Ombo – Edfu
Kom Ombo - Breakfast will be served on board your ship. Afterwards, join your Egyptologist tour guide to explore one of Egypt’s most remarkable temples, the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were once worshipped. Return to your ship and savor lunch on the sun deck while admiring the unique scenery of the majestic Nile River. In the afternoon, enjoy a chariot ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned as one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. After your tour, you will be transported back to your ship. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture, entirely carved into the mountain. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, belonging to King Amenhotep III. Return to your ship for lunch.
