- Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Constructed during the reign of the illustrious Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC, the two grand rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel are dedicated to Ramses II and his wife, Nefertari. These temples are celebrated as architectural marvels of Egypt’s New Kingdom. When the High Dam in Aswan was constructed, threatening to flood their original site, the Egyptian government and UNESCO collaborated to preserve these historic structures. The guide will lead visitors to the Great Temple, honoring Ramses II and four other deities, and the smaller temple dedicated to his wife Nefertari, also known as the Temple of Hathor. A knowledgeable Egyptologist will detail the intricate carvings and statues, as well as the rescue efforts from the flood. After approximately 2 hours at the temples, guests will return to Aswan.

Excellent driver and guide speaking in impeccable French - As the trip is quite long and the road is sometimes damaged and if possible return in the day because at night there are many trucks and visibility is really poor

Many interesting details - Visiting the breathtaking Abu Simbel Temples felt like stepping back in time, with every carving telling a story. Later, the Nubian Village was a vibrant mix of colors and culture, and the locals were so welcoming. The private guide made the trip even better by sharing so many interesting details. A Perfect Blend of Culture - The Abu Simbel Temples are incredible, with their massive statues and detailed carvings. The Nubian Village was a charming stop, where we learned about local traditions and enjoyed delicious Nubian food. The private guide ensured we were comfortable and well-informed throughout. Fantastic experience - The Abu Simbel and Nubian Village tour was a fantastic experience! Seeing the ancient temples of Abu Simbel up close was awe-inspiring. The intricate carvings and massive statues were breathtaking. Our Egyptologist guide provided so much insightful information about the history and significance of the temples. The visit to the Nubian Village was equally amazing. It was wonderful to meet the local Nubian families and learn about their culture. The motorboat ride to the village was a unique and scenic experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Aswan!

Abu Simdel and Nubian village - Abu Simdel is one of the places that show what man is capable of doing to amaze the world with its majesty and beauty. If you are passionate about architecture and history, this is the ideal place to visit. The interior with its large columns and hieroglyphics that tell events that happened thousands of years ago, connect us with the way of life of that time that has served as the basis for our current life. You MUST do this trip! - I got pick up for 5:30 am The tour was well-organized, informative, and enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he explained the history and significance of the temples and the village in a clear and engaging way. The temples were stunning and awe-inspiring, and the village was charming and authentic. I learned a lot about the ancient Egyptian culture and the modern Nubian lifestyle. The tour also included a boat ride on the Nile, which was relaxing and scenic. The lunch was delicious and filling, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some of the most impressive and unique attractions in Egypt. It was worth every penny and more!
