Short and sweet cruise!! - Where do I start. If you’re looking for a great English speaking guide, contact Hany!! This was my partner and I’s first time in Egypt. Hany was also our first tour guide, we are so glad he was! From the moment he picked us up from the moment we said goodbye Hany has always been on time, ready to go, organised, friendly and caring no matter where we are or what was on the agenda for the day. As a beginner to the counties history, I learnt so much in the short amount of time thanks to Hany. We covered so many fascinating locations while taking the cruise from Aswan to Luxor, well worth the trip. The cruise offered a Buffet set meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food was great and service by the crew on board was lovely! The cruise covered everything we would’ve tried to see if we didn’t do the cruise. There’s a day on the cruise where you’re sailing up stream for most the day, this was absolutely stunning and a great chance to see the lively hood those who live by the river. Even better opportunity to relax, have a swim in the pool or have a read in the sun. Highly recommended doing this cruise, it’s really bang for your buck in my opinion especially when entree fees are also included compared to many others that don’t. Would cost more to buy tickets individually

A crazy Egypt! - During our stay in Marsa Alam at the Swisstouch Oriental Beach resort we chose to take a 4-day Nile cruise (organized online from home before departure for Marsa Alam). We chose an agency that we immediately appreciated the seriousness and professionalism because, being in Marsa Alam we had the “problem” of starting from the resort where we would have stayed. Immediately the Marsaalam tour agency assured us that it was not a problem that they had already organized such an experience by picking up tourists at their resort. We had all the clarifications of the case by email with immediate and satisfactory answers. We booked trusting what we were guaranteed and the advice they gave us including the advice to choose a quality ship. In the days before departure we had all the information necessary for the organization of the trip (departure time, driver’s mobile number, ...). On 21/03/2025 at 3:50 the driver arrived early and with a top quality vehicle (Toyota minivan) all for us. We arrived around 1pm in Aswan after 9 hours of travel (for tourists it is mandatory to go from Luxor to reach Aswan) with some stops to refresh. We met our guide Mohamed who guided us with professionalism and the utmost attention so that we could live an unforgettable experience. We boarded the Royal Elite (the quality of the ship was felt immediately) we had lunch (quality food and services). After lunch always with the driver and the same vehicle we made the first visits: Temple of Philae (extraordinary) and the incomplete obelisk (unimaginable to understand how it was possible to make it and especially transport it - 1200 ton of granite!). Back to the ship we enjoyed the services offered and the pool on board. After the quality dinner, tired but with eyes full of the first beauties we enjoyed, we rested in the silence of our cabin with balcony. On the second day at 4 o'clock we started the journey to Abu Simbel (8 hours travel, but well spent). The temple of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari left us speechless. Back we admired the Aswan Dam (an engineering marvel that transformed the landscape and provided services to the whole of Egypt. Returning to the ship we had lunch as the ship sailed towards Kom Ombo. In the late afternoon we visited the unique temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two deities (unique with this feature). During dinner on board we sailed to Edfu. The third day after visiting the Horus temple in Edfu (probably the best preserved with breathtaking beauty), we started sailing to Luxor. A relaxing day on the ship with lots of sun and swimming in the pool, topped off with a great lunch and a fish dinner. Dock in front of the temple of Karnak (indescribable the charm that emanates with cleverly crafted lighting. A walk along the River Nile was the wonderful highlight of the day1 On the last day always early in the morning (6 am) the Toyota minivan was waiting for us to start the visit of the west bank of Luxor: the Valley of the Kings with the magnificent tombs of the pharaohs including that of Tutankamon were waiting for us to show us the incredible symbolism that can be enjoyed in the visit. Once back on the minivan we reached the impressive Hatseipsut Temple (probably one of the most beautiful of its kind). During the transfer to Luxor we stopped to see the behemoths of Memnon. The time has come to visit the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious building ever built in the world. After lunch that closes our experience, we returned to Marsa Alam. Some tips: - choose an agency of experience and quality as Marsaalam tour (perfect and precise in everything, we could not find anything unplanned (thank you very much because your professionalism allowed us to live a unique experience; - choose a quality ship (Royal Elita - excellent -) because it makes all the difference in the world when eating and resting; - we thank the guide Mohamed perfect choice of the agency and the driver for his professionalism and punctuality. We wish you an experience like ours because it will be unforgettable!

Perfect Trip, Ask for Gemal / Gemy - Couldn’t recommend this trip any more. A quick overview of what to expect: - you’ll be picked up from wherever you’re staying around Aswan by private transfer. They bring you to the boat where you meet your tour group for the duration of the trip. We were lucky in that we had a small group of 9. This meant we were in a comfortable 10-person mini van for every excursion - meals are buffet style. You are assigned a seat with your tour group - for the first 1.5 days the boat doesn’t move from Aswan. Day 1 you visit the temple of Philae and Aswan dam, both nearby. Day 2 starts with an early morning (3:30am) excursion to Abu Simbel. - drinks are not included but are very reasonable - 1 euro for a large bottle of water, 3 euro for a beer - tipping is dealt with very well. You do not tip anyone on the boat until the end when you submit an envelope filled with at least the recommended minimum of 5 dollars per person per night. You will need some cash still to tip various other people (boat operators to Philae, horse carriage riders etc.). Your guide will instruct you as to the appropriate amount - not that boats may park next to you with will obscure your view of the Nile. This really isn’t an issue though as you will be sailing for about 12 hours total where views are completely unobscured. All in all we had a phenomenal experience on this Nile Cruise, helped hugely by Gemal/Gemy. As our tour guide he was brilliantly informative, engaging and willing to answer questions. We came away with a deeper appreciation and knowledge of Egyptian history and saw some wonderful sights we wouldn’t have otherwise. A must -do on your trip to Egypt

Must-do for a trip to Egypt - We had an amazing few days on our Nile cruise. The ship and all of the staff were lovely. We got to see so many fascinating sites while also having free time to relax on the ship. The highlight of it was our tour guide, Gemy. He was informative, kind and we had a lot of fun in our group. I would highly recommend to add this to your Egypt itinerary.

Excellent experience, recommended - The cruise was spectacular. We were at Lady Carol, modern, clean, the cabin very good, the employees are very friendly and willing. The stops were met. We didn’t have much luck with the guides because we required guide in Spanish and stayed 2 of the 4 days with a guide in English. However on the 4th day in Luxor we had a very good guide in Spanish, Sameh, collaborator and professional. We loved it. Thank you.

Perfect organization - Beautiful family trip (two cabins), with an Italian-speaking guide dedicated to our small group of 5 people. We switched via WhatsApp to set the pickup location on Monday morning. We got to know our guide, Hassan, who was perfect throughout the trip: very courteous and available, he accompanied us to the places of visit with clear explanations, and he took good care of all the logistics and protect us from nuisances who approach tourists constantly. We split up with regret. The boat was the Lady Mary, very beautiful, clean, with impeccable service. For meals the unlimited buffet was very varied and of good quality: several meats, fish sometimes, salads, fruits, cakes ... and we were treated to a table reserved for us, very nice thing. On the boat there was a magnificent terrace to admire the Nile and sunbathe, with a small pool (for children or just to cool off) and a "tea time" in the afternoon. Clean, spacious rooms with a beautiful view of ne Nile. The tours are well paced, you have to get up early to go to Abu Simbel (at 4am), and also to Edfu (at 5am), but it is absolutely worth it. The passage of the lock of Esna is very friendly too (with the unprecedented experience of negotiating with merchants on small boats, who throw their products at you in plastic bags and wait for you to throw the money...). I wouldn't talk about the beauty of the places visited - I just say that the organization was perfect and we are very happy with Egypt Knight Tours.

We had a great time with... - We had a great time with this tour, everything was well organised by our guide Gamal. This covered Titickets for entry, transport to and from the sites, and a very knowledgeable guide who explained everything in detail and answered any and all questions that we could throw at him. The food on the cruise had a wide selection, and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable.

First Class experience !! - 3 night and 4 day tour from Aswan to Luxor. Trip included: 3night stay at the Royal Viking Cruise Full board with breakfast, lunch & dinner Our tour guide was Mr. HANY. He was a delightful person to be with. Mr Hany was super friendly with great knowledge of all the temple history. We also met with Mr Mahmoud Aly from Egpyt Knight, who helped us to check-in early by 1030am in the cruise ship. It was a great help since we were super tired from travelling almost 14hours, until we reached Aswan. Overall it was a first class experience with Egpyt Knight Tour, and we will definitely recommend their tour plans to all travellers visiting Egpyt.

Wonderful experience! Highly recommended - We had a wonderful trip from Aswan to Luxor - an absolute recommendation! We felt very comfortable with our guide Hussein and are grateful to him for the support and knowledge he gave us! He has responded to each of our wishes, has always given us enough time and has been able to explain many details about the historical sites. We have really rarely experienced such a service, Hussein was consistently very dedicated and friendly. By the way, the tour was very well organized and included all the important stops for us - Philae Temple, Abu Simbel to the Valley of the Kings and much more. When we asked out of interest, the travel agency could spontaneously offer us a number of additional services (e.g. exploring the Dendera Temple). Overall, the tour was a consistently positive experience, which we would book just as well! Thank you very much again!
