Note: If guests arrive in Aswan or are picked up early (recommended), the tour will commence immediately upon arrival, as cruise check-in is at 12:00 PM. This ensures guests do not waste time waiting in the lobby and helps avoid the heat.
Aswan High Dam - Begin the day tour with a visit to the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and generate electricity. The Aswan High Dam is a remarkable sight, measuring 3,600 meters in length, 980 meters thick at the base, and 111 meters tall at its highest point. Behind it lies Lake Nasser, the world’s largest man-made lake, providing irrigation and electricity for all of Egypt. Located 13 km south of Aswan, guests will then drive to visit the Philae Temple.
Temple of Philae - Continue the tour with a visit to the Philae Temple, a Greco-Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, accessed by a small motorboat. This stunning temple complex is one of Egypt’s most picturesque, situated on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam. The temple was relocated to its current site after the construction of the High Dam threatened to submerge it. The reconstruction was meticulously completed, preserving the original appearance and layout, and landscaping the island to resemble its former location. Philae gained prominence during the Ptolemaic Dynasty as the center of the cult of Isis. It was one of the last places where the ancient religion persisted after Christianity arrived in Egypt, officially closing in 551 AD. Early Christians later used the main temple as a church. Guests will then return to the Nile cruise for an overnight stay in Aswan.

Hot Air Balloon & West Bank
Hot Air Balloon Luxor Take Off Site - At around 4:30 AM, guests will be picked up for an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor, offering an aerial view of the city’s landscape and famous landmarks.
Colossi of Memnon - After the balloon ride, guests will stop for photos at the Colossi of Memnon, two magnificent twin statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, with two smaller statues at their feet (one of his wife and the other his mother). These statues stand majestically on the horizon of Luxor. Each statue measures 60 feet tall and stands at the entrance of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple. They are named the Colossi of Memnon due to a sound phenomenon produced by one of the statues after an earthquake. Originally built in the Theban Necropolis west of the Nile River in modern Luxor, the Colossi of Memnon are made of quartzite sandstone, believed to have been quarried at El-Gabal el-Ahmar near modern Cairo and transported 420 miles overland to Thebes. They have stood for thousands of years. Guests will then drive to the Hatshepsut temple.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Guests will visit the Queen Hatshepsut temple and discover her beautiful temple and intriguing story with her nephew. Rising from the desert plain in a series of terraces, the temple of Hatshepsut merges with the sheer limestone cliffs of the Theban Mountain’s eastern face, as if nature itself built this extraordinary monument. Guests will then drive to visit the Valley of the Kings.
Valley of the Kings - Guests will arrive at the Valley of the Kings, known as the Great Place of Truth, now called the Valley of the Kings. This majestic domain of the Pharaohs once held great stone sarcophagi, awaiting immortality. Guests can explore the complex and see the tombs and resting places of remarkable Egyptian kings such as Merneptah, Ramesses III, and Ramesses VI. Guests will then be transferred to the Luxor railway station, airport, or their hotel in Luxor.
