Philae - We booked at the last minute, sent a driver to pick us up. Pavly behaved great, very polite an excellent professional for any service and the night experience is very worth it.

Kitsch audio, but beautiful temple, especially lit up at night - Seeing the temple at night, especially coming up to it by boat while it was lit up, was a breathtaking experience. And Mina, our driver, was professional and very helpful. He arrived early and was waiting for us in the hotel lobby at the appointed time. His car was Immaculate and roomy, and on the way he stopped so I could withdraw money at an ATM. We were a little late to the boat landing because of stopping at the ATM, but he negotiated to have a boat immediately meet us, and we were the only ones on that boat and probably the last boat to get to the island... but we arrived well before the show started. The audio for the show was melodramatic and hard to follow. The only part that was interesting enough to hold my attention was the last part when we were sitting. It was interesting to hear of the relationship of the temple to various periods in time. Seeing the Temple at night, however, is a must-see event. It is such a beautiful, well preserved Temple and it really shines, no pun intended, under their lighting. I would definitely recommend doing this tour, especially with Mina as your driver.

I did both Abu Simbel... - I did both Abu Simbel tour and Phillie light show with this company. Drive to Abu Simbel is very long but the tour guide made it feel short. His English was almost natural and very knowledgeable. Abu Simbel is amazing to see and experience. Phillie light show was also good and well organized

Amazing experience - We had booked a tour with Mr. Ahmed from viator for Philae Temple Light and Sound show. The tour was amazing and Mr. Ahmed has customized it very well. The transportation arrangement, planning and the meals were really good. We have also planned 2 more days to see attractions in Aswan. Overall, satisfied and highly recommended.

Overall good - The overall experience was very good and nice. Ahmed took care of everything, including the pick up and drop. And show was also very good. But the push for more tipping is not good, as tipping should be more from oneself and not pushed. If tipping is a thing, then it is better to add in the tour to reduce the hassle.

A mediocre show in an exceptional site. - An exceptional site worth seeing at night with beautiful lighting. For the show, the French text and voices are at least 50 years old. The play of light.... buildings lit alternately in blue, yellow or red. It doesn't break a duck's legs. The text is beautiful, but you have to love Egyptian legends and its history. An ordeal for many children and teenagers. Anyway. Go there to see Philae at night, not for the show, which could really use some rethinking.

Avoid. Did not show up and tried to bargain for cash for a later time. - Zero stars was not an option so I had to select 1 star We booked a 6pm pickup, for the English show at 7pm. At 6.30pm I messaged the company to ask when we would be picked up, and they said 7.30. When I pointed out the show started at 7pm, they said they would pick up at 7pm, for the 8pm show and we would need to wear translating headsets. They tried to get us to cancel and rebook for cash with them for a discounted price. After 30mins of messaging back and forth they eventually cancelled and refunded me. But we missed out completely as we were delaying the next morning.

So we have... - So we were clearly ripped off by the Viator Service, which offers a sound and light tour to the Temple of Philae, including round trip car transportation from the hotel, tickets to the show, boat for transfer to the island. Just the tips to pay. Only, once there, the only valid tickets are those offered at the ticket counter. 1000LE per person. The boat extra to negotiate, for us 450 to 500LE with the tip for the young people of the boat. When contacting the platform, Victor tells me that the €35 I paid only relates to round trip car transport to the hotel. While on the app, all options are checked with green validation. After WhatsApp discussion, they send the incident to the platform, which writes you an email to announce that reimbursement is not possible. Nice organized robbery. Be careful, I usually travel, and for the Aswan coup will remain a special adventure, first and last time with Viator for me. I used Get Your Guide for the first time also to get from Luxor to Aswan and it went very well. So prefer the competitor Get Your Guide to Viator who will leave you behind... besides the show, since we fixed everything on site to see it, is really of a poor quality... for those who know the sound and light of the futuroscope or the cinecinecenia of the crazy puy, you will be terribly disappointed, halogens that light up the temple in red, then in blue, then in green, in white but that's all, no animation... you really don't have to pay for it. The sunset is to be done on the other hand it is very nice...
